I haven't had the phone yet as they say i have to wait till may 18th which is 1 month early for the end of my 2 year o2 contract which ends June the 18th. I rang them to cancel it today saying i had had a change of circumstances and they are telling me i can't cancel it even though i have received nothing from them as it's an upgarde and they have given me a free month even though on the o2 website they say you can upgrade a month early for free.
Thanks for any help
I'm not sure I understand what has happened here. You can upgrade 1 month before the end of your minimum term (18/6) but phones 4 u have upgraded you 2 months early - except you can't have what you've upgraded to until 1 month before?
What is the free month? Have they paid you 1 month's line rental? Is this really an agreement to upgrade instead of an upgrade? Surely 02 won't have processed the upgrade instruction from phones 4u yet?0 -
The DSR does not apply to upgrades.
Most company's extend it so the same policy applies to new sales and upgrades, P4U do not. As you said not a great company to deal with when it comes to upgrades.
I'm going by P4U policy which states she can return the product.
So i'm correct in that she can return the upgrade.0
