Does anyone know a freephone no or normal number to contact Beauty Expert, my GHDs, are not working properly, only had them since September and I dont want to ring the 0844 no.

Download an app to your mobile called WeQ4U I put all my 0844 0845 numbers through this app and it takes the minutes from your contract instead of charging you. The app is free.
Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.

AngelsMadV, sorry to hear your not having a good time with your DS1 still, my friend went through the same sort of thing with her daughter last year and she ended up going to live with her dad, and she absolutely hated it after a few weeks, she thought the grass was greener living with her dad, and she would be able to get away with all sorts of things, and it is never the case, hopefully after a couple of weeks away things will look clearer to him and he will be back and behaving. Fingers crossed for you.
I do hope so. I was hoping it wouldn't come to this but even though we've asked for help, it hasn't been forthcoming.

Angelsmadv i really feel for you with your son, dont feel guilty about letting him go just keep the door open for him and let him know you will always be there for him sometimes you have to put the rest of the family first however hard it is,
I didn't realise it would ever be this hard. Thank you for your kind words. :A

Are you involved with social services? Receiving any kind of respite?
You really need to be shouting from the rooftops for help for the lad and for yourselves.
Please don't take this as a criticism, that's not how its meant. x
I don't take much as criticism, HP and know exactly the angle you're coming from.

We are indeed involved with social services. We're 4 weeks into a 13 week parenting course with SureStart that was given to us to add something. So far all it's done is made things worse when I said about using washing up liquid as a deterrent to swearing and spitting. I was reported to social services for that. I go to this meeting as an honest hard working loving father and I'm surrounded by Jeremy Kyle esque people joking about how they'd "knock their kids heads off" and hinting that a child's first right of passage is his "first tattoo and first blow job" I can't go into more as it's confidential but it was a disgrace.

DS1 and DS2 (Aspergic) have been on the list to see a child psychologist for 7 weeks. We have heard nothing. I've tried all sorts of bonding with DS1 and have asked school for help.

I'm willing to keep fighting (for want of a better phrase), but it appears he is not.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I think, what I am trying to say is, hang in there, you know you are doing the best for him:A
Wow you really are cramped! I hope the council sort something for you. We're lucky in that respect in that the council house we bought was a 3 bed but converted and extended to a 5 so we have enough space for all, even when DD1 comes with Maddie-Moo and hubby.

If I haven't said before, all my children are step. I took all 5 on to give them a better home. I guess DS1 still resents me as he saw it as splitting his parents up. The harsh reality is that they'd been separated for 4 years but the H's ex has a nice way of blurring the truth to his own gain. Well, I guess he's getting what he wanted.

I think I would prefer your sums by the sound of things? :)

Going on previous glitches, my calc was APG sees £5.72 (£3 for the first 6 and £2.72 for the last 4). Price at S for comparison is £2.70, so APG £3.02. Actually paid £4, so "net" cost 98p? Haven't actually tested it yet ......

Local T Express restocked the fairy wul, still going through at 32p this morning :) But no 1p chocs :(

    No, I think you're right - I said I hadn't woken up! :rotfl::o. Still a cracking deal though, thank you. :)
    Hope is not a strategy.

AngelsMadV, for what it's worth I too think you're doing the right thing. You're doing the best you can by him, but as somebody else said you also have to think of the best interests of the rest of the family. He's obviously got a lot of anger in him, but hopefully at some point he will work through it and become a pleasant and productive young man. It often happens that way so don't give up. Good luck. :A

On another note, I've been meaning to ask you, how did you get on with your dental quote?
    Hope is not a strategy.
  • Morning everyone, hope everyone is well. It is a lovely day here have got beds all stripped and hung out to dry. It's amazing how much better you feel when the sun is shining.

Just got back from two different Mr T's after getting very angry at the first. Managed to find some Haribo bunny mix and Malteasers bunnies. Total- 3 bags. I was also buying some prosecco there. SA saw they were scanning at 1p, called over her supervisor and then they took them from me and refused to sell them. I was furious. The SA then claimed they couldn't sell them because they were actually earmarked for 'charity'. Utter bullcarp.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. But you must put them all aside and look at the bigger picture. If the sun is shining where you are, go out and bask in it. We don't get a lot of it. Treat yourself to something you enjoy. If you have a dog, take it out. Smile at people in the park. Some will smile back. Release those feel good chemicals.

Going back to your excuse. Yes, i've heard that one more times than I care to remember. The two I usually got were: You were perfect for the job, but there was another lady who had just the right amount of experience. Then the same one as you got: Sorry, you would have got the job, but they decided to fill it internally.

On the same note, I think employers should reimburse us folk (who only seem to make up the numbers at interviews). For our time we take to get there and back and the grilling we receive. For our parking costs which are extortionate these days/and or any train/bus fares.

    Will they ever?

    Heck as like.

Try to enjoy the rest of your day, its early yet. Hugs.
