AngelsMadV, for what it's worth I too think you're doing the right thing. You're doing the best you can by him, but as somebody else said you also have to think of the best interests of the rest of the family. He's obviously got a lot of anger in him, but hopefully at some point he will work through it and become a pleasant and productive young man. It often happens that way so don't give up. Good luck. :A

On another note, I've been meaning to ask you, how did you get on with your dental quote?

Thank you for your words of support. As for the dental quote - it's coming in at around £12-£18K dependant on the gum/bone structure. a hell of alot cheaper than the UK. Just need to get debt-free and start saving up!
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

My husband always reimburses job candidates for travel, parking and any out of pocket expenses when they come to interview. Most of them are astonished when he offers, a sad reflection of the times we live in. One company we heard of recently was even expecting candidates to travel abroad for interview at their own expense to be interviewed! Appalling!

Wow you really are cramped! I hope the council sort something for you. We're lucky in that respect in that the council house we bought was a 3 bed but converted and extended to a 5 so we have enough space for all, even when DD1 comes with Maddie-Moo and hubby.

If I haven't said before, all my children are step. I took all 5 on to give them a better home. I guess DS1 still resents me as he saw it as splitting his parents up. The harsh reality is that they'd been separated for 4 years but the H's ex has a nice way of blurring the truth to his own gain. Well, I guess he's getting what he wanted.

You my fellow, deserve a medal and you are an inspiration. There are not many who would take on another person's children, let alone FIVE of them. I also notice you beat yourself up a lot. You must try to stop doing that. Easier said than done, I know. But get all the help you can.

I know for a fact, I could not have taken on another person's children.

Let go, and see where the cards fall. Don't try to control everything. Its not your whole responsibility. Children will be children. You can guide them, but that's all. If they make mistakes, then let them learn from them. I know its hard. I can only imagine.

Good morning, lovely and warm today, will be able to get all that washing done from over the weekend, the only downside to going away, is all this washing to do when you get home.

Does anyone know a freephone no or normal number to contact Beauty Expert, my GHDs, are not working properly, only had them since September and I dont want to ring the 0844 no.

Have I missed any glitches while I have been away at the weekend. Never managed to find any 1p chocs in Porthmadog.

Lots of catching up to do, tried to skim read a bit last night, but will be busy today, so probably not much chance of it.

((hugs)) to anyone that needs them.

Have you tried Say no to 0870?

That is a lot cheaper than what you were quoted, isn't it, even though it's still a lot of money. It might be worth getting one or two more quotes to see if you can get it down further ?

    Good luck! :D

Just got back from two different Mr T's after getting very angry at the first. Managed to find some Haribo bunny mix and Malteasers bunnies. Total- 3 bags. I was also buying some prosecco there. SA saw they were scanning at 1p, called over her supervisor and then they took them from me and refused to sell them. I was furious. The SA then claimed they couldn't sell them because they were actually earmarked for 'charity'. Utter bullcarp.

My Mum used to work in Mr T's and she said they get more money for 'wasting' the stock than they do for selling them to customers. I was livid so my Ma very kindly offered to drive me to another Mr T's. I got three bags of mini eggs for 3p and used the self service. Lesson learnt!

Having a really rubbish day actually- amazing job I was up for has been 'filled internally' :(

Sorry to hear that, this happened to me a few years ago, a job I did temporary as cover was advertised as a slightly different position an an existing member of the team got the job:( but on the brighter side a few weeks later I got a call to work with an amazing little boy with Cerebral Palsy who touched my heart and will always be a part of me. looking back it was the best thing that happened to me at time. :)

Er which is it (re using sainsbob vouchers in Tosco) :D

If it depends on the store it would be best for you to ask at customer service. I have had no bother using them but bubbs store does not.
