good evening everybody, I hope you have all had a great day.
3dogs I am sorry to hear you are in pain I hope the medication works and you are able to sleep.
SD sorry to hear about your cousin, My thoughts are with you and your family.

I had another successful whoopsie shop tonight. My Mr S seem to be over stocking lately. I will be sad when they get that sorted out. I got things I needed that I could put in the fridge. I will have to go blind folded shopping tomorrow as I only need fruit and veg now.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

Really good advice. It took us 2 years and a bit of fertility help to 'make' another (I'm no spring chicken!!) and the relief we felt when he arrived safe and sound was immense. My OH and I don't talk about it but I do think about him and wonder how life would have been if he had survived. Human nature to wonder I suppose but you're right concentrate on the living and enjoy every second of them.

My friend lost her baby and is currently undertaking her 5th round of IVf. regarding mourning her little one, they took someone's advice. Her and her OH chose a peaceful spot (somewhere they can visit so maybe a park/canal some place special to you), both said a prayer and lit Chinese lanterns and let them go into the sky. She said it was so overwhelmingly sad but also healing (it makes me cry just to type this out). She has been back to the spot since and says it helps her enormously.

Yes I'm Savvy in disguise without any of his skills or intelligence ;)

Don't do yourself down, squilliondollarbaby. You're far more worth than that!:)
  • Evening all, hope you're all behaving ;)

Well all except my David, that's a given :)

Did Jackpot247 yesterday but it hasn't tracked yet...anyone know what's the norm?

Off for a mega catch up, only just skim read the last couple of pages and wanted to give SD a big hug (and BSQ and Squills), can't imagine how horrific it must be, life is so cruel sometimes :(

    Stick your claim in

With the SuperCasino.com I stuck in £20 and then did loads of £1 on blackjack maybe about 40 goes.. to go over the £20 in total bets and then got £25.. I then noticed I needed to bet £20 so bet the £25 and won £50 :) that means I should get the cashback?

If not.. im still £30 up :)

ISTR your first bet should be £20.

    Was it?

But surely you'll be allowed a drink on Saturday? :D

I too believe in stocking up on wine and other drinks when the right price (often abroad) comes along. The difference is my other half aids and abets me, and he's very efficient. I wouldn't like to tell you what we have in stock. :o Last time I asked him to bring me some whisky back, 53 bottles appeared  :rotfl:. But he does come from a nation that buys everything by the crateful, even Coke and mineral water.

    I understand that perfectly.

I'm married to one of them as well.

I was working out there when we fell in love :beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

I met my OH on school exchange when I was 17! :rotfl: Many years later after various ups and downs we eventually got married. The girl I stayed with on the exchange came to our wedding.
    Hope is not a strategy.
