Just wanted to second this. It's great to see someone with an obvious talent for certain things actually using that talent!

    Thanks.:):)

Your sig tells us your DS2 has Asperger's, so too does fairclaire's son. Is it me or are there a lot of people nowadays with this? It seems like there's so many of us with it - or maybe it is being diagnosed more and more now? I went all the way through school and (twice, nay three times!) through Uni, without it being picked up. When I was told I had it, I felt like I'd won the lottery (the lottery of life rather than the National, unfoturnately). I feel like one of the 'chosen few', chosen specially to learn and know better than most people.

I operate in a better way. It does bring its problems too, which rather than being much problematic have found explanations for themselves and are not too badly debilitating. It affects everyone who has it differently, so I don't know what's it like for your son (or for you). I don't communicate solely by text - I was 'traditionally' a very shy person earlier in my life (that 'shyness' which turned out not to be just mere shyness but something more) but am very fluent and when I speak to people they most likely wouldn't know I had it.
It can be difficult to get myself understood though (particularly in oral communication rather than writing). For those who have time to read and understand, everything is of course explained - the full and complete picture - in my writing!:rotfl::rotfl:

From a shop this morning, would you believe I needed milk

18 items (10 different) on your bill qualify for comparison Tesco
    +£8.02

    0.1 x ASDA Carrots by Weight (100g) £0.08 £0.08
    0.11 x ASDA Onions by Weight (100g) £0.08 £0.09
    1 x ASDA Paracetamol 500mg Caplets (16) £0.22 £0.19
    1 x ASDA Baby New Potatoes with Herbs & Butter (360g) £1.00 £0.39
    4 x Cravendale Fresh Filtered Semi Skimmed Milk (2L) £7.92 £6.00
    4 x Cravendale Pure Filtered Whole Milk (2L) £7.92 £6.00
    3 x Kingsmill Really Seeded Bread (800g) £3.00 £1.50
    1 x ASDA Indian Takeaway Garlic & Coriander Naans (2 p... £0.75 £0.30
    1 x Soft & Gentle Sensitive Antiperspirant Deodorant (... £1.00 £0.20
    1 x Soft & Gentle Body Responsive Antiperspirant Deodo... £1.00 £0.20

    Comparison total £22.97 £14.95

The Cravendale might be a precursor, I felt, to the big glitch tomorrow. (This is all going to be :o if it doesn't come off.) The multibuy is not showing even now on MSM (suggesting different products update at a different time, as and when the system reaches them??), when a lot of other multibuys are back on.

Or, at least, that was my first thought. I've checked sada.com and there's no m'buy on the Cravendale 2L there either.

Because of this, I think the multibuy in A is ending tomorrow (or, rather, tonight, at midnight). However, the online prices are tomorrow's prices already (since deliveries cannot take place today) - instore it appears there is still a multibuy but MSM and the APG will already be on tomorrow's prices.

I'm a little non-happy about this (not unhappy just none-too-happy) as it means I'm now going to have to do a shop tonight if I want milk cheaper, and therefore will have to do another one tomorrow to take advantage of the big glitch (that's if it turns out). Would be fantastic if I could just get the milk - but now need another 6 or 7 items again:( and paying more for a shop I hadn't intended, with my current APG voucher then returning an APG of lesser value to use on the proper shop (or series of shops, as this is going to be big), unless... unless I come back with wombles!:)???

 Got my post half century 2 months dry coming up with only a few cheating bits in the middle when I am away or the boss is away
Best enjoy the last few hours :beer::beer::beer::beer:

Not that I'm going to cheat lol

But surely you'll be allowed a drink on Saturday? :D

I too believe in stocking up on wine and other drinks when the right price (often abroad) comes along. The difference is my other half aids and abets me, and he's very efficient. I wouldn't like to tell you what we have in stock. :o Last time I asked him to bring me some whisky back, 53 bottles appeared  :rotfl:. But he does come from a nation that buys everything by the crateful, even Coke and mineral water.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Evening all, hope you're all behaving ;)

Did Jackpot247 yesterday but it hasn't tracked yet...anyone know what's the norm?

Off for a mega catch up, only just skim read the last couple of pages and wanted to give SD a big hug (and BSQ and Squills), can't imagine how horrific it must be, life is so cruel sometimes :(

With the SuperCasino.com I stuck in £20 and then did loads of £1 on blackjack maybe about 40 goes.. to go over the £20 in total bets and then got £25.. I then noticed I needed to bet £20 so bet the £25 and won £50 :) that means I should get the cashback?

If not.. im still £30 up :)

Interesting about the missing items. Does anyone ever do a quick number tally on wombles of items on receipt vs items showing on APG comparison .....

I 'always' have a look at the receipt and then see the APG comp. immediately after I've entered it in. Or at least I think I would notice if there was some grocery item on the receipt that didn't appear on the APG list. (Let me correct that: I think I would automatically notice, as the item on the receipt would stand out as if it were in bold red, twice the size of every other item and with bells ringing loudly and continually on it, even if I had not been concentrating on it on seeing the APG result. I just seem to have that talent!)

It would just stand out obviously to me. I could not overlook it even if I were trying to.
