    An excuse for every day of the week as to why life is SOOOO much harder for you than the rest of us.

    Just go do something, anything, its got be better than the last year of your life you have spent posting your woes on here.

    ah now I think the Asda uniform precluded a job there :rolleyes:

    See now I thought the issue on that thread was with Morrisons at the time or was that another pointless dull self self self thread?? Apologies if its my memory but I have had a wee glass of vino tinto:rotfl: (from suprisingly enough - Morrisons:D )

    and Edi dont worry about the loss of memory - my mum once told me she bounded halfway up the stairs and stopped .............only to ask herself was I going up or coming down:rotfl: :rotfl: and she doesnt drink:eek:

    :rotfl::T

    So the fact that I find the washing up liquid in the fridge and tins of beans in the freezer isn't too much of a problem then?

    I cant remember whether it was Asda or Morrisons but I do remember it had to do with uniform. Didn't he like it? Cant even remember why!!!

    I love this place :)

  • Yes, it is my fault too for picking a worthless degree subject in the eyes of employers I do know that is my biggest barrier to a job

    Wrong Phil, very wrong.
    YOU are the the biggest barrier to a job, not your degree !

    Because I would not be able to sit at a till too long.

    No Phil.. if i can remember your stories then you should try harder.

    You can't work in a supermarket because you can't stand up for long. You'd work on a till but you don't want to wear a uniform. That was your original story for not working in a supermarket.

    Phil, do you know what a PhD involves, I mean really? The fact you think it is just a collection of essays is shockingly ignorant.

    To be fair to Phil, in the great gilliam mckeiths case, it merely involves sending a wad of money to the USA, and some nobody, at some non - accedited US "University", reviewing the results of your attempt at their "distance learning course" - be it one page or one thousand - and awarding you your higher degree.

    Whoops, sorry I forgot the one crucial element of quality control you have to pass - that your wad of cash is real or your cheque has been cleared.

    I was a bit confused that he said he couldn't sit because I know his disability and sitting down for a nice 4 hour shift scanning shopping has got to be the perfect job :)

    Wasn't there a song 'stand up, sit down, keep moving.....'. A kids song. He could sing that & practise the moves to decide what is more comfortable. :)
