Indians are always asking people to do the needful in writing. I started using the phrase myself a little bit.0 -

I find upside-down much easier than text speak...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Weirdly I could understand that better than text speak!
I've been known to correct texts from my sons if it contains text speak/spelling mistakes and to ignore/question texts from ex husband because he uses text speak badly and I haven't a blooming clue what he is saying!
If there was an exam on text speak, I would fail miserably, I just cannot understand it.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Where there wasn't text speak there were howling grammatical and spelling errors on every single one - and DH rejected the lot.
It's bad enough that they would write in such a manner in the first place but as a parent would you let your kid send such a CV?0 -
Consider how many of them just don't want the job but want to up the number of applications sent to claim benefits.
I remember a scene form trainspotting which is worryingly real.

That's because you are so experienced in reading your boss's communications and confidential stuff etc left on his desk upside down while actually also having a conversation with him.0 -

I have a complete b1tch for a boss - I'm self-employed.
I did learn to read upside down at school, though (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
