Morning everyone,
Not been on for a while, having a carp time at work with being ostracised from the "clique" and main boss being a pain the harris!
/breathe
Anyway, last weekend managed to have a major sort out of the house and old clothes etc - OH still needs to do his so will nag him this weekend
Managed to get all the washing dried on the line (with the cat helping of course, he's a sun worshipper!)
OH's friend let him down over getting some more topsoil for the veg plots, so we'll have to sort something out this weekend as things need to be in - his dad has plants at the nursery he works at ready and waiting to be planted so need to get a move on..
Hugs to all that need them, seems to be a lot in need recently.
Back to the grindstone!

Ooooooh yes please :T Judi you are welcome to join me

I am now coming up with the bright idea of a wine and chocolate fountain, you know like fondue. #Iamagenius :rotfl:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Morning all,
Warmer and drier than expected here so have finally cut grass ahead of rain predicted this evening. Trying to bag up odds and ends of rubbish for tip and store undercover until we can get rid of it.
Dogs sunbathing again - what a life.
Eglu cleaned out, hoovering done, off to Hoover and clean car next then bit of shopping to do on way to work.
Have a good day

Morning All,
Judi you are just a big softie!
But you do need to be firmer where finances are concerned. Whilst I deal with the majority of our finances my OH and I discuss all our major spends, that way we both know if there are extra finances available for treats etc.
(What really happens is Mrs NAR tells me she is buying something and I say yes dear.
)
Been raining here this morning but clearing up nicely now. Will be taking OH to see Consultant tonight for 6 week post op (galbladder removal) check up.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Can I join you for this, pretty please?:o BD slept on my bed last night, so I'm feeling less than 100% today (oh alright, if I'm honest, I feel less than 10%, but what's an extra 0 between friends?):DBitsy_Beans wrote: »I am now coming up with the bright idea of a wine and chocolate fountain, you know like fondue. #Iamagenius :rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hello everybody. Overcast here and keeps looking like it's going to chuck it down so I managed to mow the grass at the front and cut a bit more holly and yew but have left it now as I've not got the energy. Sphincter of Odi playing up AGAIN but at least I stop one of my meds today. Hairdressers later and TBQH I just don't want to talk to any of them. "Been anywhere nice" :rotfl: So I am going to take a book and be very anti social..... My OMD tickets have sold on ebay for £70 so that's just £5 less than we paid for them so I don't mind taking that hit. Finally booked a hotel for our friends' civil partnership in Edinburgh; Premier was fully booked so I cashed in some points and got Holiday Inn Express near the waterfront for a good deal. Got some threads off ebay myself the other day - an unwanted gift which worked out at 15p a skein. I can then see what there is in there that I needed to buy for my projects and cross them off my list as there is over 100 in the ebay purchase..... cheapest I've found them elsewhere was 40p each. Apart from that not much else to report. Derek is still very mopey and nervy, I made a pie the other day which we had for two nights running and I have enough pastry left for another one. Going to a musuem gallery opening tomorrow with Prof Brian Cox...... last one we went to they had pies and a free bar..... also signed up for a blogger meet up/group in July so I need to work on that. Think I'm going to keep the one I've got for my music going and general reviews and start another one for the homecrafts etc..... well, that is the plan but whether it comes off etc.... Might just play around with the one I've got. God, I'm hopeless at this :rotfl: Right off now. Not had much work this week, today is the second day where there has been nobody on line to ask for more work...... Hope everyone has an okay day and hugs to all who would benefit from one.....But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green

Afternoon all!
I also have the BD visiting just now, Lamewolf! Didn't get out of bed till 11, and looked at fridge to see DS should have been at the dentist at 10.20am- cue grovelling phone call to rearrange, me snapping at him and him having a Kevin and Perry moment, just as my brother walked in the door! Oh the joys of a happy family....
Got the final cheque from OH's stuff this morning, so at least I don't have to deal with any more insurance companies for a while, thank crunchie! Need to go shopping, as DD has eaten her way through all the quick food, baking potatoes and corn on the cob from the freezer, seems to be all shes eating when I am at work, so will go do a freezer list and see what I need.
Have a good day allRIP Iain

No help needed thanks Helena, I shall be increasing the direct debit pretty soon myself as ive been deliberately been keeping it low and paying off chunks during the year which has suited us both but if hubby is going to moan I think increasing the DD to a more realistic figure is the way to go but paying off the £80 first.
No worries,
You know where I am if you need me

Went to see Dniece yesterday, she seems to be doing surprisingly well, bless her.
Popped into Wilkinsons on the way back and ran into another niece who has come up from Eastbourne, lovely to see her and great niece so it was a nice day yesterday.
Not feeling too great today so I am just poodling around.
It is really warm and all the washing is on the line, but I haven't got enough for another load, so that will have to wait.
We went shopping this morning and only spent £29 :jGot lots for our money
