It may well be, not. But the effect of her decision is that another family is helped.
And I bet you're yet another jealous benefits-basher.
Not jealous at all but I don't believe there has been a solitary post by someone affected by the reduction in HB for a surplus bedroom NOT complaining about the ruling.0 -
My daughter was given a 3 bedroom council house , now due to the "bedroom tax" she is having to move into a 2bedroom house via an exchange - does anyone know if Waveney district council or Flagship housing association help with the cost of a removal van? my daughter is on single parent benefits , thanks for any advice
Phone and ask (or get daughter to phone and ask):
1. Waveney district council.
2. Flagship housing association.

You expected posts by people affected, saying how wonderful.it was?0 -

I bet she has complained:)
I actually downsized when my dd left home. There was no mention of bedroom tax at that point in time. I done it because it was the right thing to do
Free up a 3 bedroom home for a family who needed it to go into a 2 bedroom. Turned out it was one of the biggest mistakes of my life.. but that's a different story, needless to say I'm waiting to move again

I personally wouldn't have objected to it if I had to pay it to stay in my 3 bedroom. But I do object to my dd having to pay it for a room she can't access in her wheelchair. It was built as a carer's room, the dd doesn't need an overnight carer at this point in time. However, there are no suitable one bedroom properties available. In fact, she had to move out of her 1 bedroom flat because it couldn't be adapted for her wheelchair.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
