And if I see one more piece of ugly Farrow and Ball-painted-brown-furniture-gingham-patterned-with-heart-motif-distressed-1960s tat listed as 'shabby chic' I think I'll go off my rocker.

Anyone who uses the word "style" because 9 times out of 10 that means "fake" eg "Pandora-style bracelet". Bloody annoying if you are looking for the genuine article. (Not that I would buy Pandora from ebay - that was just an example). Or Lloyd Loom ;)

    How about 'ultra' rare?!

This guitar is apparently 'ulta rare' - seller wants £1200 plus £25 p&p

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151034212753?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

A quick google shows it's widely available (brand new) for £1066 (including free delivery of course!) - one shop is even selling it for £994

    So much for ultra rare!

    Ironically it's surprisingly common too.

"Unique" or "Totally Unique" - when you've done a search for that sort of item and found 20 listings of exaclty the same thing....
