Hi Lee,
Thanks for coming back to me. I look forward to receiving your email soon.
As upgrade deals are quoted on a individual basis, what we may be able to offer to you may not be available to someone else.
In regard to your insurance, this will cover you for accidental damage or if your phone is lost or stolen. Any faults would be dealt with under the manufacturer's warranty.
Kind regards,
Lee

Not necessarily if it is a manufacturing fault, the warranty is just 1 year and the customer knows their rights.Vodafone_company_representative wrote: »... Any faults would be dealt with under the manufacturer's warranty.

With the usage mentioned, I'd suggest the free use version of Ovivo, plus make some of your calls using VoIP when in wifi range, or even over 3g if it works (I haven't tried).
50 minutes of VoIP calls to landlines could cost about 20 pence, or to mobiles just over a quid.
The phone life and warranty issues alarm me, as the most I've ever had done is replace the on/off button on a Nokia E51, which is still going strong and 5 years old.
Look into waterproof cases if that would help at some times, such as Aquapac.0
