Good tip. One thing I have found is that the little blighters love hiding down plug holes and floor drains. I tend too keep the plugs in and spray fly killer down the drains and into the overflow holes in the sink and bath etc.

Forgot to say:

I use an after sun with mozzie repellent (I like Boots Soltan) then Avon Skin-so-Soft dry oil spray (the 'Original' one), then 'proper' mozzie spray.

Although some people say that they use only the Avon stuff, it's not marketed as anti-mosquito and I wouldn't trust it on its own.

I find it's quite a nice moisuriser after a day in the sun, though.

I've been using it for almost 20 years, even before it became the 'dry oil spray' - it was called Avon S-S-S bath oil spray and was very greasy - when it was mentioned in a free booklet that Thomson sent us for a holiday to Sri Lanka in 1996.

which nationality mosquitos will you be visiting, different countries have different mosquitos/flying biting insects.

sandflys are the worse for me, but you rarely see them in europe.

NZ south island got me the worst
