just been sanctioned, not my fault

Don't lose your temper at the job centre, just tell them that you will be appealing the sanction to the fullest extent you can.
They will, no doubt try to rub your nose in it, just try and keep calm.0 -
you tell me where it was my fault, i have done everthing that was asked of me every week
But I do wonder if it is seen as your fault for not doing anything about it (e.g. contacting the job centre to let them know, at least) until your next appointment.0 -
OP, how are you getting on now?
Are you still receiving hardship payments? bit nuts but I wonder if by receiving payments it has had an effect on the DM decision at this time
Very weird, my sanction was quicky removed in the end once I was actually signed off JSA - I really don't know what would have happened judging by this thread still just glad I didn't take the hardship option, just my experience and thought
UJM still scares me - how can 1 jobcentre act like this and another not give 2 hoots about it - it doesn't make sense : (0 -

As i have said before the whole point of not ticking the box is to reduce the risk of getting unfair sanctions as was reported at the beginning of this thread.
UNTICK THE BOX, YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE.[/QUOTE]
IF someone comes in genuinely looking for a job why worry. If you are paddling in the shallow end of course you will get sanctioned.0 -

The problem is that a lot of people who are looking for a job are getting sanctions, when they shouldn't have.
For a start, most people who are new to the system, fall immediately into the traps the DWP so carefully lay for them.0 -

That is not the world I live in - I can assure you no one has ever asked me to "trap" anyone and if they did they would get an appropriate response.0 -
You are clueless, but that is not surprising, you work for JC+.
Well said, we've got a right one here!0 -
oh and to the advisors, please re read my original post
an advisor posted a job on the same day it EXPIRED , when i got home, i COULD NOT APPLY as the red apply button was gone and a message saying it expired, THATS what ive been sanctioned for, it WASNT and ISNT my fault, here are screen grabs

Any update on this?
Did you appeal?0 -
oops sorry yes for nearly year reply, yes i appealed, and it was turned down, even with the proof i had, i was sanctioned for 6 months, heres the weird thing they tried again other day, i signed on the monday, nothing went in on thursday, i phoned them, they said i had been sanctioned again, but it has been reviewed and payment should be in my bank by end of the day , they refused to tell me why it happened, amazes me it was reviewed without me actually appealing!!!
