Abandoned Cat

  • I've only just seen this. Does the new occupant of the house have a forwarding address or a contact number for the old householder? Some friends of ours moved house years ago and their beloved tabby cat did a runner in all the confusion of packing and was nowhere to be seen in the days leading up to the move. They were heartbroken to move without him, even had a bit of a panic on the drive to their new place when they heard rustling in the back of the car and convinced themselves they must have packed the cat in a bin liner with the kids toys... They hadn't, we found him about a week later but only because they'd told us he was missing and we'd been out every evening waving bowls of tuna around and calling him...
If you lend someone £20 and never see them again, it was probably £20 well spent...

    .

Forwarding address for someone who has died? lol, like heaven or hell?

OP, Do the right thing and take this poor creature in, you know you want it. Please dont hand him over to the RSPCA as they tend to put a lot of animals down within days.
If your struggling with another could you ask a work mate if they would have him?

Oh dear, I guess that is one of the dark sides of an open forum.
