Bossy I have to agree with others here. You are a fabulous Mummy, you wouldn't be human if tears sometimes escape from your eyes. Huge hugs xxx

Busy day. Work, flying, school, cricket, flying, gymnastics, Tesco, flying, dinner.

The farce of DH's op started when he went AWOL at 2pm. He wouldn't tell me where he was so I gave him a few hours to come home. At 6pm I got DS2 to call him while I was cooking to find out what time he wanted to leave for the horse piddle. DS3 hangs up and tells me he's already there.

The horse piddle is 45 mins away. He's not allowed to drive after the anaesthetic. I couldn't drive there or we would have to leave a car there. DD1 came home from a 12 hour shift and took me to my mums (half way). My mum drove me to the H.

I was furious with him but could see how anxious he was so had to keep my mouth firmly shut. The op was quick but painful and we were allowed to leave an hour later.

DS1 feels a bit better. DH thinks the op has worked. I feel 10 years older than when I woke up today.

I've been going so fast today the BD couldn't keep up. It's now trying to share my lap with Misti mog.

I hope the restative power of sleep delivers me an easier day tomorrow.

It looks like we are in for a looooooooooooong night.. Squeak seems to have an ear infection but I can't get her to the dr in the morning as Ds3 is at hospital.. I'll see what times hey have available but OH might have to take her and Dot with him... that is one you need to be a fly on the wall for lol. She won't take medicine, I just had to pin her down to get half a spoon of calprofen down her!

Dot is also screaming intermittently so she'll be in with me soon no doubt.

Morning all, got the food cupboards done out yesterday. It was nice to see what we had and what needed thrown out. OH got the door of the chicken coop on and fenced off bits of the field to stop fred (the collie) from getting in near the sheep and lambs.

I even got my hair dyed last night...:j:rotfl:

Today will be polytunnel, washing and kitchen. I might even clean the cooker.

Right better get the boys up for school...

Cyclingyorkie, hope things improve for DD quickly.
    Thanks PenPen.
    Bossy big hugs sweetie.

    xx

I'm sure shes psychic as shes definitely seen my piles to know they need sorting :o:eek:

Dusty i agree with you about VitD, we keep telling mil she needs to try and spend some time outside each day in the brightest part of it. her idea of getting frsh air is ot have a sniff near the front door and thats it for the day most days. im not what age this starts or if its even national but our drs have started blanket prescribing Vit D tablets to the seniors mil got a letter about 6 months ago she hass to take 4 a day it said that bone density etc can be affected by lack of it and older people in particular suffer more breaks if they dont get enough (mil is 85 where my mum is 70 and hasnt heard about it but she lives in a different area (or could just be too young)

pigpen have you tried one of those medicine sryinges i found them much better and less wasteful or messy when trying to give reluctant children meds

    Good morning :j
BD can be due to low levels of vit D I think and right now we will all be at our lowest due to the long winter. I want you all to do each day's outside jobs this week even if you don't do anything else. If you cannot do that then get outside for at least 15 minutes in the middle (brightest part of the day) for a cuppa etc.

Excellent plan :A I've been for a run in the sunshine, and plan to prune the roses in the front garden later. I put this off, as last time I was harrangued by my idiot of an MP, who just wouldn't push off, despite my asking him politely to do so, several times

So, I'm going to start today with the ironing and the last episode of Broadchurch, once I';ve packed DS off to college :) Anyone want to join HHI, or HHsomething, 08:45 - 09:15 :D
