I'm joining in this week, a bit late in posting. Thanks for the thread.

On Sunday I had a mammoth 3 hour ironing session to clear the basket which got me off on a good start to the week. So yesterday I did the kitchen (off-list), wiped worksurfaces, cleaned sink and draining board, cleaned dish-drainer, wiped dining table, swept, hoovered and mopped kitchen and dining room. I also put away dry clothes, and did one hour of sorting wedding stuff. Phew!

Today I will do the living room and stairs, after a run when I get in from work today.

Hugs, positive vibes, get well wishes, and sticks for BDs where appropriate.

Back from hospital. Took tomatoes back to Mr M on the way back (bought yesterday and mouldy this morning).
Washing now on the line, just having a cuppa and then flying until lunchtime and gardening after.

Vitamin D to start you reading, it certainly makes me feel better to get outside (and it is due to get warmer as the week progresses)
Thanks for this Dusty. It's actually quite a challenge for me - firstly, with lupus, I have to be extremely careful about sun exposure, or it can make me very sick - I can't have direct sun on my face or head at all. Secondly, diet-wise, I'm veggie, so don't get the Vit D from a lot of food. Thirdly - I'm actually scared to be outside alone. I'm making progress though, I can now go in the back garden more or less OK as long as the back gate is padlocked; our back garden is surrounded by a six-foot fence, which helps no end.:o Before anyone asks how I manage dog walks - if I have a dog with me, by definition, I'm not alone.:o And if anyone stops and wants to chat (my real major fear) I can excuse myself by saying the dog wants to get on with his/her walk (I also try and time walks when I'm not likely to bump into anyone);)

I have to make pizza dough for tonight's dins (yes, it will have a topping on it, before anyone says anything:rotfl:) and also a loaf; and see how much of the lounge and hall I can get dusted - not lifting the large dragons, though.

(((HUGS))) for Bossy, CY + DD, Mumto5 and anyone else needing them, or who is being dealt 'orrible sour lemons by the Universe currently.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

  • Been a very hard morning to get moving, I think I might have taken too much on yesterday! Going to get up and do the landlady's house...and then I'm going to bake some bread and whilst it is proving I'll fly...that's my plan. Might just have to accept that I don't get everything done today or I'll never make it through the rest of the week!
