Blue_haddock , APD is only paid to the govt if the passenger travels so why can't they have it back and after all they are legally entitled to it. The admin involved in refunding it can't take more than 15mins. Are you really trying to say that £35 is a fair charge for this? I agree that any company is entitled to charge a fee but that's ridiculous.Timmay!0

Since I checked in online the gates were supposed to close 25 mins before the flight time which means from the schduled 0720 Hrs of the bus' arrival at Stansted I would have had a full 20 mins to get to the flight.
so providing the bus arrives bang on time (yeah right!) you have 20 minutes to get from the bus stop into the terminal, through security and then all the way to the gate.So I do have strong basis for making a claim.
I would say very little chance of making a succesful claim.0 -
I agree with Blue_Haddock on this, you still did not leave enough time to make it to the airport.
The Terravision website clearly states that you should aim to arrive at your airport two hours before your flight. Because you clearly didn't do this, it will invalidate any claim for consequential loss. This fact would also invalidate a claim on any travel insurance.
I agree that the service provided (or not) by Terravision is appalling. However, I would just put it down to a bad experience, and arrange alternative means of travel to the airport next time xGone ... or have I?0 -

Passengers are not legally entitled to get the APD back, it is only a recommendation that the airlines give it back unfortunately!0 -
Thanks!
