Thank you for the birthday wishes for Skye, she is having a lovely day, we are now at Louth on a CL (a small site for 5 caravans with just fresh water, electric and somewhere to empty to waste water) overlooking a paddock and woods, with rabbits running around, as we well as all sort of birds. We have lovely sunshine, though the wind still has a nip in it. Tomorrow while the 'van is being serviced we will pop to Mablethorpe and let Skye have a run on the sand.

She shares her birthday with the Queen and my dear MIL's, she would have been 100 today if she was still with us.

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?
  • Welcome amancalledmartin and crowdpleaser

Gawgeuss day so we have spent most of it in the garden. I wanted to put some more seeds in today, couldn't find my plant sticks so I used lolly sticks from my craft box instead :D

DH and DS have been putting another raised bed in and managed to break the spade :mad: so I will have to buy another one next week.
Then to top it all I went aspidistra over blackberry bush because my ruddy knee gave out, that curtailed the outdoor fun dead and I had to leave everything to the men to finish off :(

LW I am glad that you had a lovely birthday

Happy Birthday Skye animated-smileys-birthday-075.gif She is really lovely Donny

Whilst DH was watching the GP I thought I'd blitz the conservatory. I can not believe it !!! ( Meldrew moment here) The bl00dy bird has sh@t on the cream coloured chaise, the stone coloured sofa, 2 tables and the blinds.
I think more than 1 of them had a party here, surely 1 bird can't tish that much.
Rant over and 1 bottle of Star Drops later....................:(
