Clearly your part of the public sector is better paid than I realise if you can accept years of pay freeze plus significant pension increases and say "are no proposed changes to my conditions, so no problem there".

Called having a job. Many private sector workers have happily taken pay cuts to find work. Many now find themselves highly employable within the public sector. As the public sector is slowly beginning to change. Management is increasingly being recruited from outside. Also quasi public sector organisations have external board members.

They also ask for any bullion dealers who can offer "special rates" to email them. They're ramping silver, hoping to get a kickback from a "recommended" dealer, or a combination of the two.

    Interesting.

    1) Grow up.

    2) Learn to spell.

    3) Don't forget to tell Mater and Pater that you will not be going to Pony Club on that day as you are going to go and play Revolutionary Class Warriors with your little friends.

    4) Repeat point (1).

Hope the sun shines for you....it will make it easier for the Police to film you as you pointlessly screw up other people's lives for the day whilst you indulge in your inner need for Scumbaggery.

Because majority of people are happily carrying on working. Those absent aren't greatly missed. Tells you much about the productivity of the public sector.

I would think that if someone takes a day off and it affects nobody, you may as well sack or short time that individual and save us all some money.

    Wrong on both counts :p
Not at all well paid, but thankfully the pay freezes were only for those earning over £20k (or thereabouts) pa.

Anywayz :D, never mind about union crap & rubbish wages, let's get back to figuring out how to make some pocket money out of this silver stuff, and bring down the world's financial system at the same time

You don't get paid for strike day, and in the Civil Service you lose it from your pension as well. So its the employees loss.
