My guess is that rich bankers won't give a flying fox if a bunch of public sector workers go on strike.

Been on strike already. Saving the taxpayer money.

Funny how going on strike is deemed to be good for the UK economy.

I did no such thing. I assumed (quite correctly it would appear) that the OP is part of the "Global Anti Capitalist" bunch of ignorant, violent, thuggish scumbags who use May 1st as a generic excuse to cause criminal damage, harm law abiding businesses and try and injure police officers.
