you didnt read it right- the whole ebay amount will go to cc and the left over wages that was used to pay for door handle and letter box will go there also.

but few problems :( bill was £495 for painting £20 more than i thought (checked quote email and thats correct, obv misremembered it!) and a stupid continuous dd for a socialising website i thought i cancelled came out today for £29.99  i have emailed them but dont hold much hope for getting it.

    grrrrrr :(

in other bad news just got noddle report and score is only 4/5 :( must be association with mum that is dragging it down...:rotfl: not sure why as lots and lots of green dots!

so payday! did not get paid mileage which was annoying but only £10- will get next month.

new letter box doesnt fit so will return along with handles for refund.

have paid painting bill and had £11.42 left in acc so transferred to cc. min payment also went out today (going to cancel that now as will be paying more than min each month). so balance down to £5274.20 :) will be paying another £286.61 tomorrow (£340 minus min payment thats already gone out of bank acc so need to transfer back).

so not been on for a few weeks. not much happening really money wise.

cc is now at £4920 :undecided

ms not been going well, £87 earnt in june which is way below £200 target :( july not looking great at the moment but just applied for loads of online ms. if i get allocated usual amount should earn at least £150 :D

got a few more spends for garden as doing up front next week to make it look nice as a bit of a mess and now i have had painting done i want it all to look good. wont be too much, just £20 on raised bed kit, about £16 on some screening and £20 on some felt for shed roof as half blew off a while ago in winds and cheaper than getting new shed! house spends idea not really working as i buy the stuff anyway as im doing the project. have already spent up aug's £100 so going to scrap that and just pay all off cc and get house stuff when needed. hoping i dont need a new fridge freezer as there seems to be lots of water puddling at the bottom of fridge. its really old but wasnt planning on replacing yet. will investigate today to see if i can find the problem :(

should be paying whole £340 rent off cc this month :) going down but slower than i would like.

hopefully will find out next fri if my work is signed off and then will get payrise :j not a massive amount but should be around £40pm. slight chance it will backdated but not holding my breath :(

the mortgage deal i was thinking of getting has been pulled which is annoying! will need to wait for payrise then have another look. seen a similar one with nationwide but would need to move my current account and pay fees so bit of a pain. cc will not be paid off by time i get it but hope by time i complete on it it will be down to £3k. would be easier if they will still lend with the cc rather than borrowing to pay off so will look into it nearer the time. was going to keep monthly payment the same with reduced rate to significantly reduce the term but thinking if i do that, at end of deal if rates have gone up dont want to be stuck on higher stv and have to pay much more each month as may not be able to afford. currently pay £590pm so may get monthly payment of £500 and over pay £90. that way i will pay the same but have a small buffer if i get stuck on a stv at end of deal thats more.

Your drainage hole is probably blocked. Empty fridge and pull out and unplug. Have a look at the back of fridge - there will be a little plastic box thing which is where water should drain to and evaporate, should be below the cooling grid. Get some flexible wire (coathanger or garden stuff). Make a long twisty thing (technical term) and work it in the hole, pull out, wipe gunk off  and keep redoing. Try pouring a little water in hole and see if it drains. Took me about 15 mins. Then I poured through a concentrated mix of cleaner and hot water. Fine now.

    so time for an update.

    good news-

current acc will be in credit day before payday :) £4 left so just sent that to debt acc
got two evenings of overtime at work :j
up to £100 with done/earnt ms for july :)
will def be getting payrise at work (not likely to be til aug at least but backdated to now) :T think will be around £40pm take home. means should now earn enough to get mortgage myself when remortgage and dont need guarantor :)

so will be making at least £200 extra in july with ms and overtime. wont be paid until aug though so july payment will not be very good due to hardly any earnt in june. hope to pay off £400.

so plans for weekend are gym soon, bit of cleaning/tidying then garden all afternoon to sunbathe and do weeding and move some soil. mum coming tomorrow and will do raised bed, reed stuff on fence and repair to shed roof :)

coming up at work i will be working somewhere different for a few weeks. is within walking distance of house so can walk most of time to save petrol :j on days i need to go in office first to get stuff will need to pay to park- over £5 per day  will get it back though but not til sept wage  pig is quite full of silver so going to count all the silver and put in bag in car and use that. when i get it back in sept will pay off cc so shouldnt be out of pocket really (as pig probably wouldnt be full till then anyway so wouldnt be paid in bank til sep)

ok so new mortgage decided for moment with nationwide. seems good as rate varies with slight increase in house value so if house is worth 4k more will make 0.25% difference. heres hoping they value it at that when time comes :)

cant apply for a month as current deal doesnt end til mid nov plus i need pay confirmation (could take up to 2 months!). will check nearer time thats still best deal. got an unused flex acc with them already so will transfer coop acc to them also and will upgade to £10pm acc for travel and phone ins (will cancel barclays ins). is same price pm for mortgage to reduce term 13 years :D still not sure about maybe having longer term then overpaying to make up, need to give that some thought

also i like to spread the cost of stuff throughout the year so save for xmas, bdays etc but currently dont save for home insurance or tax bill. also noticed that ybs pay way more interest than coop and natwest. not bothered about my weekends away saving acc with natwest as i do drain that most months so its really just a way to hold the money seperate.

have therefore just opened two new savings accs with ybs. one will be for xmas & home ins and the other will be to save for tax bill. will move xmas savings from coop and from oct will put £10pm for insurance into that acc as well (will need to buy insurance in full in sept).

at the moment i want to pay as much off cc as i can until complete on new mortgage which will be in nov. as tax bill due jan i think i will just wait til then to start saving for it. generally it works out i pay around 10% of total income for ms in tax as i pay 20% but there are obv expenses such as printing, mileage etc... from jan i will start to save 10% of yearly total and then i will do my tax return as soon as i can to get exact amount due. will subtract the few months of 10% and then divide whats left by months til jan then save that. can then pay in full in jan with no impact on montly budget :)

as i currently am paying off cc i am not using my isa. will therefore put xmas, ins and eventually tax savings in there until i pay cc off and start using it for emergency fund. means i get a little bit more and no tax due :)
