so getting a bit bored with debt repayments atm as nothing is happening as no money coming in. the nice thing with ms is that i normally get 2-3 payments every week as i work for a few diff co's. as i didnt do any last month as i was away ive not really started getting them yet have started again so should start rolling in within next few weeks.

i did get my £60 ms fee though so transfered that along with £40 extra to my current account to get out of the overdraft so that can carry on ticking over. the extra £27 wage is needed next month to keep me out of it but from june pay it can go towards debt.

so debt account is currently at £34. need £100 for the house fund so is short (but only by £50 as spent £16 of house fund yest on fence paint and brush).

had people round for quotes and just waiting to get them through now. seems like i can get it done in around a month. wont have the funds by then saved in house account as will be quite a bit i think. will 'borrow' the difference from funds earmarked for cc then will pay off cc in the coming months instead of putting it in house fund. cc is 0% and will still be paying more than min so overall its not a set back. also going to ask m&d for money towards it for my bday. cant wait for it to be done as is v scruffy atm and i want to redo the garden which i cant do until painting done as raised bed will be in the way!

so only 1 ms this weekend today i am going to the gym then if its not raining i will do some weeding in the back garden and tidy up in preparation for painting the fence tomorrow. then will do some housework upstairs and cook a pot of chilli.

tomorrow its gym, 1 ms then garden fence painting! i know how to rock and roll :rotfl:

Just looked on google maps as I couldn't remember how much rendering there was, my car is across the road :rotfl:. I'll pay for the bit above the upstairs window .

Maybe you could do a sponsored 'paint clippy's house' event and people could pay for a square centimetre each :T.

so spent sat night and yest entering comps. done all ending 12th and 13th. also put a lot of thought into what i will do with the 20k and caravan when i win the itv comp :rotfl:

been busy in the garden. sorted strawberry patch, planted veg seeds, pulled ivy off fence and removed all unneeded nails and wire from fence in prep for painting. also cleaned upstairs.

got some bargains in asda yest- outside broom, plastic bucket, weedkiller, small cutters, big shears, planting pots, new toilet brush and a fence painting kit inc tray, roller and three brushes for £24 :j will return the £5 single brush to wickes as the set was only £4!

still not had the quotes through. annoying as want to know how much and when so i can decide what to do with rent money next monday as if im not getting it done for another month i want it paid off cc (and go below £5k :T).

aprils £100 house budget has pretty much been spent now as just reserved a ladder for £60 to collect later. need one to get in loft and borrowed a colleagues a few times. is a telescopic one so folds really small. got the size i need on offer for £60. i like the ladder as its really sturdy so happy to go up and down on my own.

off work this am as got a ms booked at 11.30. going to go in at 10.30 to get fathers day pressie. hope they have the counter i need in boots as 1000 extra advantage card points on what he wants! :beer: if not i will order online and collect at weekend. ladder shop next door to ms shop which is handy. will be bringing car and parking as straight to work after. will go and get ready soon and do a few more comps until then

so entered all the comps ending yest as well. not done todays

so had quotes through and are :eek: posted in the fair quote board to see if they are about right so i know whether to get anyone else round. not sure what to do as want it all done but want it done good (previous person bodged it up so lots of sanding/stripping req). will def be getting windows done but not sure about the rest. cheapest on was £475 which is a lot more than i thought

really nothing happening money saving wise but got a £20 ms booked for thur :A also had a shower at the gym and let hair dry naturally so saving of gas, elec and water :rotfl: but thats counteracted by putting heating on for hour as was cold :cool: looking forward to getting rent money on monday so can shift it about and see what i have to play with. will prob end up shoving in house fund till i decide what to do re quotes. have a new savings account for house fund as accidently opened 2 with natwest. who knew you could press 3 buttons and open one? :rotfl: have just discovered can rename them so just done them all

so payday today :j doesnt mean anything for debt repayments but the account is back in the black now and should stay that way was projected to have £18 left at end of month so moved £10 over to debt account. leaving the other £8 in there to account for any payable calls made on mobile or landline. will transfer any left day before payday

have decided to get work done as i cant face attempting to get all the peeling paint off as it will take ages. will be first time i have paid for decorating as done all the rest myself with help. will get one more quote but worst case scenario it will be £475 mum is going to give me £100 towards for my bday :jand imagine dad will give me £50 (need to ask first!) so need £325. am getting it done this paymonth so only small debt repayment this month then i will pay june, jul and aug house £100 off cc instead to balance out.

so done some figures for when the rent comes on mon. min payment to cc is around £53 and need to pay for last months house purchases made on cc (the money i put aside was sent to main bank account after spreadsheet boo boo!). so should be left with £258. so £67 needed. got £125 due from ms payments that i have done already so will be fine and should also be able to pay off at least £58 extra off cc. should be more as sure i will get a few more ms that will pay within the month

will need to be careful with food budget as need to try and make it stretch 5 weeks (paid few days early as due on sun and next month will fall on wed and dont shop till weekend). will be hard as i need polish, vanish, toilet roll, washing powder and fabric softener as well as food :cool: working from home today so will go lidl at lunch and get everything i can from there and then go tesco for the rest. hopefully if i go lidl every week i can manage it. will have to see!

just a quick update. today will be spendy as i am getting my hair cut (£42 :eek:) dont get it done anywhere cheaper as everytime i try somewhere else it is not right. have a v thick blunt fringe so is obvious when its messed up! plus get free fringe trims. it is all budgeted for though.

then im going out tonight will need to get a taxi as its a bit far to walk in heels. may have a quick look in new look to see if they have any nice bags bigger than the ones i have got and see if i can put my flipflops in. then could walk in and save on taxi (and use vouch to get bag free!)

going to put some stew in the slow cooker soon and then when i am back from the gym i will make soup. have a few hours so will do some cleaning as well. also picked up a small ms to do before hair cut. fee not great for work involved and will need to wait over 6 weeks for pay (and reimb for item to buy and send back) but is reasonable easy and not much else about atm

tomorrow i will go to gym but probably wont be up in time to do my usual class so prob just go on treadmill and swim. need to make another pot of soup as well. have got work laptop as i was working from home yest so will post some things for sale on intranet. mainly items that will only go for a few £ but are bulky or heavy so not worth going on ebay. got one or two things for ebay so will also list those (cant really remember what i have in the bag!). would like to paint fence tomorrow but not sure if it will rain. will have to see how it is tomorrow

hmmm so not sure what to do with myself today! still sitting in pjs as was out last night (no hangover though :j) spent £30 of this weeks budget so got £10 left. also £20 left from week before.

i need to make the two pots of soup and clean down stairs as didnt do it yesterday. have booked a ms at a small supermarket which i will do round 5pm i think and then go for a swim on way back to save petrol and increase exercise.

wont take very long to clean downstairs so may go in garden and start brushing fence with stiff brush to paint next weekend (hope it doesnt rain!). also need to sweep and brush dead moss off wall as moss killer seems to have worked well. got some massive weeds that i sprayed last week (were growing in cracks in path so didnt want to pull out as couldnt get roots). they are looking pretty dead today so may cut off all leaves and give another spray. need to buy some canes and net next weekend to build a frame around my vegetable beds to stop every cat in the area pooing on them thought potatoes would be ok as bushy now but a cat has a poo on one of them. bloody hate clearing up after other peoples cats- the bed with nothing in yet that has fresh soil has over 10 poos in since last weekend :mad: did use a garlic spray but due to rain the smell has obviously gone

have sorted out the stuff to list, got about 3 things to stick on ebay and will list everything else on work intranet after dinner tonight. hopefully it will sell though dont expect more than about £20 even if it all does. think i may try sticking the beauty stuff i got from the mag subscription on as well to see if it sells
