Yay! That's a good start to the day!
And of course we will forgive you if you are not on here for a few days! You are not obliged to keep us updated on your honeymoon!!0 -
Ah lovely Trog - honeymoon's not til Xmas - dans les alps.
I'll probably be keenly on here until I fathom all these supermarkets out!
Mysupermarket is quite helpful but a bit annoying at swapping some things.
Interesting that its not the shop I thought would be the cheapest that is.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

How are things up north? It's absolutely tipping down here today. A bit dispiriting as I have just bought lots of tulip bulbs (inspired by this) and now it's too wet to plant them.
One good thing though is that the wind and rain has brought down lots of ripe walnuts and this morning I came home with an entire carrier bag full after a few minutes scavenging (no they're not my trees, just on the roadside). I am amazed that almost everyone else just drives/cycles over them, the paths are just covered in squashed nuts and it seems such a waste. It isn't even as if they are some esoteric type of edible fungus that most people don't know about; walnuts are available in every supermarket and are really quite expensive while there they are for the gathering, free and very tasty and they don't even require any preparation, and yet no one will bother to pick them up! Oh well, all the more for me I suppose :j0 -
Hey there chaps - hope you're all good!
Sorry to hear its tipping down Trog!
I'm a bit erratic online at the moment (nowt changes eh?) and tame chef is due today - so I'll have the whip cracked t me.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0
