If your not gaming one of these would do, though you need to supply the hard drive; memory (they just slip in) & OS like Linux Mint.
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring

Yes Mint is great, very user friendly. Although I don't think you can beat Ubuntu desktop for rock solid stability, and ultra fast boot/shutdown/suspend times.

what pc have you got? what are the specs? Which os have you bought? what are the symptoms of the graphics card problem?

originally the pc kept freezing, usually when a video or similar started on a web page, gradually got worse until i couldnt have the pc on for 5 minutes without it freezing. so i formated the hard drive, reinstalled windows 7....and it's still freezing, even before i open anything. at the minute nothing is installed on it apart from windows. i gave up at that point..........

So it and the graphics card are working, ie things are on coming on screen and boots?

    make and model?

freezing when, after 5 minutes ever single boot?

Does safe mode freeze, F8 at boot?

Are the case and graphics card fans spinning?

it boots fine to windows, and freezes after every boot, even if i dont do anything. freezes in safe mode too and all the fans are spinning

i had to stop messing around with it last night before it went through the window..................
