Totally in agreement, horrible dreams/flashbacks of going into high street stores that sell stuff I really want to wear but spending money...........No good. Shoe department......... limited........... I only wanted a pair of heals to go with my skirt for Fridays outing but nothing available.

I accidentally tried a pair of non Tesco sandals on the other day and they were too sassy not to get them - so I grudgingly took two £10 notes from my purse - took my £3 change - and beat myself up trying to justify it all the way home :p

Crikey, a couple of months back I used to have so many credit card receipts when I 'popped into town for coffee' you just wouldn't believe it - plus I could do 3 £70 food shops a week just for the 2 of us - now we eat out most of the time with all the money we've saved :rotfl:

But you're right about the clothes being boring, although have had some nice boyfriend jeans, shorts (in various lengths lol) and hubby hasn't seen the same tshirt twice in a fortnight. The 2 for £5 tops are great (specially the white ones coz I only wear them out of the house a couple times before I send them cacky in the wash :o ). Got a white and a black pair of canvas wedges with the wrappy things, the turquoise leather thong things and some flatty canvases, oh and some sunglasses (to make up a spend - always take something extra with you and leave it at the end of the belt just in case).

I have handbags in every color, must try some bras on when I'm not in a rush AND WE GET SOME COUPONS TO USE WITH THE BLUE ONES MR T (please ;) )

Was in Tescos last night trying to search a couple of items featured in the Tesco Mag. its her Birthday on Mon and at 23 - Mum's taste in clothes leave a lot to be desired according to DD. So I heard her point out to her mate thats nice and so that. Raced down to one of the big extras - very helpful assistant - none in store - she phoned around several in the London area - none had it in stock.

Still she pointed out a green and white floaty top - said she had just got one. I reckoned she was a similiar age and build to DD so I took a chance. But she did may me smile - cos whilst waiting for the other stores to check their stock - she mentioned that they will be reducing loads shortly, anyway Tescos make loads of profit out of clothing - not of me and a few others I thought.:rotfl:

Got to the till and then it scanned at £6 less!:T No sign any coupons though.

Was this the green floaty strappy one for £18 - I bought this one early on with the clothing coupons but it went back - thought it was too overpriced. I keep checking the label whenever I see one

I've not been in any large Tescos over the last few weeks but from what I have seen some new items seem to be coming into the clothing section, dark autumn stuff though.
And while we are waiting for the next set of coupons if you use the complete of blue clothing vouchers altogether
ie buy £30 of adult clothing and £20 of clothing and then use both the £6 mens and £6 womens, £4 childrens and the £10 off a £50 spend so you get £26 off a £50 spend. You can then take one of the items straight to the CS for a refund or swap childrens for adults etc.
Mind you I think the selection in Sainsburys Tu is far nicer, pity the lack of sizes amongst the sale section and Asda also have a clothes sales. Also sales everywhere else eg New Look, Ethel Austin etc and dont forget the charity shops. The nicest items I have got recently have been there

Does anyone else drive themselves mad going through the underwear sale rails trying to get matching sets. I walked away from dozens and dozens of £1 knickers in New Look because there were not matching bras in my size!

I got some sets, plus a few extra bits. La Senza mostly do hang items from sets together, cos obviously it makes them more attractive than odd items. I must admit I didn't really make too much of the 5 pairs of knickers for a fiver, cos I'd rather have sets too.

They also had sections for various different bra sizes in the non matched items, which saves on some rumaging and they have lots of bras at only £5, some of which were quite expensive to start with. I had more of a job searching for nightware to fit, as there wasn't much selection in a size 10. If you're a size 6 or a 16 its the place to go as there was a huge selection in those sizes and there were loads of items reduced by 70%.

Bringing this back nearer to topic. Has anyone else noticed that Tesco are a nightmare of not stocking enough smaller sizes in their underware?
