Hi mate...you seem to come in with one post these days and disappear for ages.

Even though(as you know) i was one of the biggest users before and around Christmas of these"other" coupons, i have to disagree on your

"all coupons are equal" thoughts

We all know that the Sinex, Somerfield, Uniball, Nicotinell coupons we use are out of date, store specific, and non redeemable by Tescos........we all also know that Tesco willingly accept bundles of their own coupons, which are in date, store specific, and redeemable.

Pot calling the kettle black........no...I used £thousands, but never claimed it was right.

We can kid ourselves(although I never did) that the former lot are"ok", but realistically, and honestly, we know they arent.

Ive still got many, many, many, lying around....but am content with my "legal" ones

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THE NEW £6 OFF £30 expires on wed will work on anything and any spend , done 3 shops 2day paid £2.04 for £180.00 of kit not one item of clothing but used 30 x clothing vouchers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:money: :money: :money:

Every Tesco coupon under its T&Cs has 'Only one coupon per transaction'....

I think that the serial Tesco combie Dude has the same chance as the illegal couponers of being rumbled by Dundee or locally and the potential consequences with CC points...

But - like I said - each to their own!

IMHO Its the company at fault poor staff training ie lack of knowledge as to what is acceptable,lack of consistancy throughout ie some stores taking one coupon and others taking multiples and some stores taking coupons for products not purchased which apparantly is illegal and others taking coupons only for goods purchased.

The EPOS system allowing it to accept coupons that are allegedly not supposed to be accepted the list goes on and on..........

So who is to blame?As someone stated sorry forgotten your name:o ......
It is not the customers who should know the policy its the company and its employees and it should be clearly stated by the tills or in a noticable place ie by the entrance...............

Shouldnt every company know its products and policies and believe in them?......after all how can you be sales people otherwise?

Perhaps if they were cheaper and didnt inflate and deflate prices as they pleased people wouldnt use coupons to cut down their shopping bill.

Said something along those lines to a mardy bum on the till at Tesco in Leicester - the computer system is wrong if you are only allowed to take 10% off in MOC's. Computer said yes! She just gurned at me, do not think she understood what I was saying. They sent for a supervisor once as they said I could not use a clothes voucher on value clothing! I had to explain that these were clothes and nowhere did it say 'not for use with value clothing'. Surely the staff do not wish to be made to look that daft on a regular basis!
Consistency is required definitely, and sharpish!

no it was 3 different stores & all manned midday ish aswell, and all worked not a problem even gave 5 to the mum with a newborn in front and they all worked fine !!!!!!!!!:money:
