Hiya NannyTanya - just read these boards and also join https://www.paidtoshop.co.uk - lots of tips and ways to gain points. My points are large due to intensive tesco shopping and alot of help from my friends on here and PTS.

I posted on another thread about my shops today, got h&b, healthcare and lots of party stuff and food for DS's forthcoming joint birthday party. The balance was lowered by using 3 of the £6 vouchers that scan against anything so that helped.
My last £6 one did not go through as my balance was too low and I had planned to use it this evening but a family activity for a mystery shopping assignment took longer than anticipated and when I balanced the scenario of going into Tescos with 4 tired/over excited kiddies and the acceptance of a £6 moc I decided that the treats for my 4 kiddies would probably cost more than my £6 saving so decided to give it a miss.
I am hoping that it works after today ? hopefully someone will advise tomorrow, after all the blue clothing £4 vouchers expired 1/6 still work

I got home from mystery shopping to a lovely package from an MSE/PTS member - thank you, you are very kind and I have put the birthday card away ready for the weekend.
I hope the vouchers still work after today - fingers crossed

Thought I would share my first clothes shop experience using vouchers. Did a £60.00 shop and along with some h&b's and various clothes vouchers ended up paying £25.00. However, several of the clothes genuinely didn't fit so had to take them back - about £45.00 worth. Took them back to same tesco's where I bought them, and male CS said he wasn't sure if he could do a refund and would call his manager, didn't want manager called, so took clothes away, as in a hurry. Tried another store yesterday, and had same problem, Manager called and ended up having to swap clothes rather than get a refund or gift card which I had said would be fine. Also another customer arrived at CS and had the same problem, clothes purchased with several coupons, whole situation felt quite awkward and appeared that this is happening on a regular basis and is becoming a large problem. Don't think I will bother with clothes in future, especially as you can't try them on before you buy. I think using vouchers is fine as long as you don't have to take anything back.0

I went to a new store last night and there were tons of the £6 vouchers on the cs desk, I picked up about 30 ( like you do lol) and thought I would use them in my shopping that night.
Went round the store and got lots of essentials and a few luxuries in case I found a scan happy sa and then went to pay.
No young boys in sight so picked a kindly looking 40's gent, asked before putting things on the belt if it was ok to use coupons, he said yes then after he started scanning things, changed his mind and said but only if you have bought the correct products.
Made the mistake of showing him my blue £6 off mens and £6 off ladies vouchers.
I had bought £35 worth of clothes, mixed, ladies and gents but he was having none of it, said you can only use the £6 off a £30 spend if I had bought £30 of ladies, could not mix and match, arg!
He wasn't even going to letme use 2 of the SB and 2 of the Quits as he worked out I would then get the items for free (smart man!) as he said if I got things for free, it would come out of his wages!
Supervisor came over and said if the till says yes, then scan them
Unfortunately I had already given him back the clothes so couldn't use any other vouchers, he wouldn't even scan a 20p off Love it mag
Total came down from £45 to £20 but it would have been so much sweeter if could have used the £6 scan on anything vouchers.
I am going to keep hold of them though and see if anyone gets them to work today.
Just out of interest, called at Asda before I went to Tesco for my beef joint and bought two £3.73 books which I had wanted for a while, took them to till, lovely oldish gent on who scanned the Daily Mail £4 coupons with no problem even though I hadn't bought the book specified on the voucherStopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

In my local Tescos they have to call a manager if the refund is over £40 to verify the refund. So if you have a refund of more than that it may be worth splitting it down.0 -

Why can't you try them on before you buy them? In my extra they have a big changing room with loads of cubicles, Is this not the case in all stores?0 -
You must have a great store!!! Ours is a reasonable size but only has 2 cubicles.........and most of the time they remain locked so nobody can use them!!!!!!!!!0
