I bought 2 packs @ £2.50 and won 2 x £1.00 vouchers so 50p for some walkers sensations was a bargain !
well done welshy, is the walkers crisps a scratchcard winning thing? what bottle is that?0 -
@ Vellum I created a thread about the crisps it's here: (basically some packs have a voucher for £1 off a bottle of gallio wine OR £5.50 voucher to get a free bottle of wine - the voucher is inside the packet)

BOGNOR, BOGNOR, BOGNOR for the 2nd week running I now have an item with a security tag on it - as I walked through the doors today I said to DD2 I hope the alarm doesn't go off - it didn't because I think the clothing was at the bottom of a rather full trolley and I assumed he had taken them off.
Mr Welshy will have to get his pliers out - last week it was a tag on a PJ top.

Think im the only one, but i dont like the clothing coupon game, i prefere the H&B coupons game - its much easier and if things go wrong you have lost less.
Tonight I tried to take back a pair of jeans with no receipt. I has had no problem with exchanging then, but I was not given a receipt. I spoke to the c/o manager, who said no receipt is given on exchanges if i do not have the orginal receipt.
Is this standard practise??
I had no problems with the Jacket with the ripped receipt covered in tea, 'rescued from the bin' and she didnt sign it!_____________________________________________

nope you dont get a receipt if you dont take one in to start off with - otherwise anyone could take stuff back that they havent paid for, get the exchange with receipt and then take it back for a full refund.
no luck at all for me today, came home with nothing!! No clothes, no vouchers nothing but a bit of food shopping - off further afield tomorrow to try my luck!Win £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012

It seems to vary whether you get a receipt with an exchange of clothing if you offer NO receipt to start with. I have done a straight swap of clothes before without offering a receipt and I didn't get a new one either.
But this week I needed to exchange a few items and the receipt was as long as my arm with coupons used (slight exageration, I know, but did not pay any money for the clothes), so said I did not have receipt. SA scanned all my returned items to give me a total I could exchange upto. I already had a bunch of stuff ready in my trolley to swap for, PLUS she then gave me a new receipt after she had scanned all the new stuff.
So I guess now I am free to take the new things back and get cash back for them. But kids are already using the school things so will hang on to them this time🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0 -
I expect someone's already posted that Tesco clothing has 20% off from 23rd till 28th May? If not it's worth bearing in mind for two reasons:
1. Your blue or red vouchers will work against the price BEFORE the 20% off, so you can make even more savings (although, sadly, the other vouchers will have expired).
2. If you are about to return anything without a receipt and you are hoping for a giftcard, take it back BEFORE Weds 23rd otherwise you'll probably get the price less 20% (as you won't be able to prove you bought it before the discount period). Or, wait a few weeks later when they have forgotten about the 20% off but that's risky as your items may have gone down in price by then.
