I get Loratadine from my local independent chemist cheaper than from tesco and in a bigger size of box.

Loratadine is the only one that doesn't sen me to sleep.

I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the hay-fever balm (called Hayfever Max or something like that) which you can get in health food shops (eg Holland and Barratt) and chemists which are designed to put on the end/inner part of your nose and are supposed to prevent pollen from being breathed in through your nose (From what I understand).

I bought one of these last year but it didn't make a blind bit of difference, it didn't stop my nose (and eyes) streaming, my sneezing or itchy eyes. I've no idea if I wasn't using it properly or if this just doesn't work for everyone else too.

I can't seem to get on with any other hayfever medication other than Priton which works really well, but puts me to sleep! I've been through both the other types but they don't help at all. Being in London there are no local bees which product honey (none that I know of) so the idea of trying local honey isn't really viable either.

Bit late now but I picked up a few packets of this
    5 of Hayfever Tablets (Cetirizine) 2 x 14 (GSL)*
    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LUJUL1I
The price goes up and down I picked them up when they were 39p for a pack of 30 1 a day tablets.

But the price tens to jump during the summer!

*Note the packets are are 3 strips of 10 rather than 2 strips of 14
    Laters

Has anyone had any success with non-tablet based hayfever meds? I have a particularly volatile gag reflex which means tablets are a no-no for me but I've also, this summer, suffered with hayfever for the first time in my life. I'm currently on a Boots suspension and nasal spray but it is doing nothing for me!
