    Afternoon all
Home from work, hooray. popped round to DD's to feed & water her piggles whilst she's on holiday.
It's lovely & mild here, I sat with the french doors open enjoying the sun.
Another manic day at work, made worse by a colleague spending most of the day in a state of high dudgeon, things keep changing at work & she struggles to cope, she keeps coming to me to rant, she feels I should sympathise with her 'at my age' but I'm more of the 'adapt or die' mentality.
I shall enjoy a while more sunshine & then go & make some cushion covers for DD.
    Hugs Hester

Dont blame her. Last time we had things done major in the house we cleared off to the caravan for the weekend.
Not blaming wife, just saying we both had good sense to clear off and leave builders to it! ;) Came home to a very pleasant surprise; 3 ceilings and all insulation removed to skip and skip already away. So great start by the builders. :j New ceilings and insulation going up tomorrow.
Sad news is that it would have been my daughters 33 birthday today if she had lived. The pain gets easier but i never forget.
Of course you never forget. BIG HUGS.
Hope your all having a little of the sun. NAR i will be thinking of you in your mess.... Rather you than me! :D
Thanks Judi, 14 degrees here today, very pleasant indeed.

    Evening all,

Its been quite a nice day here, still very windy but sunshine makes a huge difference.

Went to Doc this morning, I have tracheitis (?) so am on antibiotics for a week and have a 'bottle' to take when going to bed, hopefully that will clear the cough, I am fed up with it.

We went out for lunch on way home from doc....think that OH was so pleased that I wasn't going to pop my clogs to-day that he treated us to lunch in Avoca...also got some rye flour to make some bread with tomorrow. They have such lovely stuff there but it is so expensive that I only visit when I need something that I can't get elsewhere.

Beth....don't envy you the graft to-morrow, although it is surprising how quickly these things get done....we had 2 sycamores cut in recent times as was afraid that they were going to collapse onto the house and guess who would be straight in their line of descent! We still have some left to burn next winter, although DS3 has to cut some of the lengths first.

Hugs to all who are in need or want of one or more, stay safe and warm
