hi P, hope you are rested and feeling better this morning.
I will give you a call as I am approaching the A11 a bit later, to see if that kettle is ready.....
I hope you have a good day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Blimey, pania. Didn't realise that that could be the reaction - no wonder Martin has singled out the dfw board as the most supportive. Sorry you got that dumped on you.
With settlement figures, what is it, exactly? Is it the amount of capital outstanding? Or is it less than that? When I've paid off the credit card, that loan of mine will be next - and it sounds like paying off the odd £500 as I do now with the mortgage would be inefficient.
Back to the animals thing - glad to hear you do that too with worms!
As to college, I went to Oxford Polytechnic, before it was Oxford Brookes University, did an external London University degree - and got it while the old Queen Mother was still Chancellor, so I voted for the successor when she retired. There was Princess Anne, didn't want her, some bloke in prison in Africa, and Jack Jones, a very respected trade unionist. As my dad was a trade unionist (respected by management where he worked) I voted for the trade unionist. Princess Anne won. And about 3 years later, I found out who the "some bloke" was in Africa. Some guy named Nelson Mandela. Since I was supposedly this big left wing person, I *cannot* tell you how embarrassed I was that I was *completely* unaware of the struggle against apartheid, eep.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi GTD yep should've learnt my lesson as have been slated previously on the house board for absolutely daring to be a mortgage advisor with so much debt, so should've learn to stay at home and not toddle off!! yep i blame the drugs to. feel groggy this morn, just want to be better!!!
Hi Hypno hon, kettle on any time you so desire. not going anywhere just working as per usual! pop in and i promise to keep my germs to myself...
Karma had to giggle at nelson mandela!!!! I remember when "they" (being loads of random pop stars held a birthday party for him.. he was in prison and wouldn't have had a clue!! Jack jones? is that where the saying "on me jack jones" comes from? :-)
