Yeah, I had noticed you were piling on the lbs a bit - just didn't want to say anything......................NOT!

So, first of all - you have a figure that many would kill for. Be very aware of that.

Secondly - Although I think your plan is fab, it doesn't leave enough time for cups of tea/coffee with other DFWers (not being selfish here or anything :p ).

Thirdly - I have about 30p to last me to the end of the month, so I will be right there with you in frugality land.

Fourthly - I can't think of anything for fouthly, I am just proving I can count up that far.

Happy birthday to OH (that can be fifthly - now I am showing off with my number skills).

    xx

What a client!!! Charming, I'm sure....... I do like the way you go running, making exercise a priority - I just don't seem to be able to do that (mind you, sawing off branches and going up and down my steps with them seems to be a pretty good workout!).

Hope OH has a nice day - yeah, probably best not to hit him on his birthday.... you can take notes tho, lol.

HA HA another cunning and ingenious plan from Karma, be really lovely to him today then remind him tomorrow of everything he did today!!! only kidding i loves im really (said in a stacey from eastenders tone of voice!!) nope he's in the good books today bless.
Right best i get on with some work to get rid of this dastardly debt and earn mega money! oh i wish!)
Going to try to get a matched bet done today with paddypower, Put in £10 they give you £20 SNR, should be a profit of about 6 or 7 pounds. A little extra in the petrol tank.
Chuffed i made the £10 overpayment to halifax but regretting it a little now as uberskint until the 25th! still thats the way to debt freedom and have had a totally blowout month!
    October will be completely different....

Love the news on the garden Karma, that is really good exercise and i bet you ache like wotnot today after yesterdays efforts. Will make you feel so good though when you look at our reformed garden and think "i did that".
I love gardening when i get time or chance so enjoy it. xx

Well, after a busy week, I have a reasonably quiet day tomorrow, so if you can fit in a tea break, I can combine it with a visit to the Friday Market?

  • HI P - now that client would now be an ex-client if that were me! How absolutely rude! Never seen your piccie but I'm sure there is absolutely nothing wrong with you.

I too have a very very tight month as DH has used his CC as if it was free money whilst I have spent about £20 and DD has cost me a fortune with uniform, brownies, lunches, swimming etc etc so we can all be frugal together!

    Have a lovely day

p.s. Happy Birthday to OH - lull him into a false sense of security and whack him with it all tomorrow instead :D

That sounds great. Am around all morning unless work tell me otherwise! May join you in a wee market visit myself, but NO sweets this time!!
Has there been any update on TD Waterhousedo you know? I've just had a statement from them? Right hi ho hi ho it's off to work i go!!I shall allow myself one post every half hour...

I've also had this morning what must surely be a good sign, the post dropped onto the mat and it was atleast half hour before i went and picked it up. In the old days i'f be on it quicker than a dog on a newspaper but i am much more serene about the post nowadays, not expecting any bad news i guess?

Right, these people need there mortgages sorting so am going to vanish and go sort.. Have a good day! xx

  • Morning P.. can't believe your client, how rude, and I can't imagine you've put on loads of weight in a few weeks! I'm sure he/ she wouldn't be impressed if you made comments on their appearance!!

You're very organised with the plan - good luck with it.. you've just reminded me that I've forgotten my stuff for the gym tonight.. oops :o

Hope OH has a good birthday.. and that he then starts behaving himself ;)

    Have a nice day! x

Morning BA and Squiz!! :hello: Don't worry the mortgage already completed on that one so no need to go back for 2 years!! Bumped into her at a site yesterday. Came up with so many amazingly quickwitted comebacks...about half hour later!!
What do others feel about gym memberships? we have a gym nearby where we can pay £30 pm individually or £50 pm for us both, including gym swim jaccuzi sauna and classes. no contract so can come and go each month if needs be. I know that i would use it but not so sure about the oh. Do people think of them as uneccessary? do i need a slap about the head? was thinking of it as my one little luxury to afford myself but DO NOT want to do it to the expense of DFD.:o naughty naughty naughty squirrel forgetting the gym kit. Not as an excuse not to go i hope!!:naughty::D

Thats crazy news about DH BA, or is it just H for now:rolleyes: I've got this phrase printed out and keep shoving under OH's nose regularly

"debt is borrowing from the future to pay for today, pretty soon, the future will arrive." :rotfl:

kinda thought provoking that one!! So frugal it is, one for all and all for one (ala the 3 frugal muskateers!) roll on payday!!
