Morning Karma!! How are you hun? nope don't compost sadly as the garden in our rented house is small small small.:o So so so want a bigger garden!! we are currently looking around for a bigger house to rent so we can have lodger and puppy which would be great!! saw a beautiful house the other day right out in the sticks (cue poppyjay chicken notions!:D ) but need to get the deposit together for the place first.
smelly videotapes made me laugh! is the one stuck in the machine in the bin complete with video player?! :rotfl:
Feeling very very flat today, not sure why just on a real downer. there are so many things i would like and it just doesn't seem to be happening, even right down to something as simple as the blo0dy housework, take for example my split personality kitchen, is beautifully clean and tidy on one side and the other is its hyde like brother!!
we need a bigger house
I need a holiday (has been 4 years so think i can justify saying that )
we need to get our debt down
But nothing seems to happen very fast around here. OH has blown his loan money on ebay stuff but thats his look out, i'm done holding him up. Has now had to off road the car whilst waiting for it to sell as he doesn't have the money to tax it! and i know, i just KNOW that he's lied to me about clearing his loan, why no confirmation letter then, why not let me see on on line banking, why keep being cagey about it. And right on cue the postmans just knocked and ANOTHER bloomin ebay parcels arrived!!God i could scream!! or throttle him! or scream whilst throttling him!!!! ANyway, best i get on with some work, sorry for the grumble. XXdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Aw hun, sorry about "stuff", but love the description of the schizo kitchen!

Hi pania
Urg, sory to hear about the oh stuff - but *very* glad to hear youre not holding his head above the water any more, glad you're sticking with that.
Housework.......... yep, the house is a mess. Add in builders rubble, even tho they're pretty clean, and thats extremely depressing. And a holiday. Ohmigod, for a holiday. I *did* have 3 days in Bournemouth earlier on in the year, but thats not quite what I had in mind. The last proper holiday I had was 4 years ago too.... sigh....... and now the builder has found two problems - he's fixed one, but the other is way outside of his remit, so I have to start negotiating with Anglian Windows about removing a lintel last year. Everything feels very risky for not much reward at the mo. Screaming and throttling someone sounds like a plan, you go girl!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
sympathies pania, I do feel for you.
Your OH sounds much like mine - lies and ebay parcels - snap!
But at least half your kitchen is clean so you are ahead of me in that respect.
hope you feel more cheery soon, just remember the debt will go down, and you will have a holiday one day.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
nope he can (apologies very uncoloquial phrase here) poke it as far as i'm concerned now, that bridge is burnt. Is sad as we were getting on so so so well and all this just puts pressure on. I'm no angel myself, :A look at the fun i had for my birthday! but i know where to stop and where my priorities are and thats with us as a couple. SO long as he still has the money to get my pup when we move else it will be all out divorce and we're not even married!
LOL at the tidy builders lucky you! whats all this with removing a lintel:eek: SOunds like you have very strong cause for kicking butt! i suggest screaming and throttling the manager of anglian will make you feel loooooads better:rotfl:
My last holiday was to turkey with the ex 4 years ago, was heaven and even then i didn't want to come home, guess i knew what was coming!
one day hey?:cool:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
I have to be in Loddon at 3, so give me a shout when you are free xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Morning P.. just sending you a great big hug :grouphug: I hope your OH starts pulling in the same direction as you soon - I know how you feel having one who spends like there's no tomorrow and doesn't see why it's a problem being in debt or why I want to pay it off
Chin up, punch some cushions, go for an angry run or whatever makes you feel better! xxxDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Hi P :hello: Sorry to hear OH has fallen off the DFW bandwagon but I think you are doing the right thing ignoring it, as it is his problem, you have done all you can. I think we all probably fell off a few times before getting on board fully though so there is still hope.
I am currently ignoring DH due to spending thrifts, we have no debit cards as ours were stopped so I have gone to bank to withdraw money out over counter - he has apparently been using his Visa card and withdrawing money, paying for stuff etc and just not told me  so there I was thinking we were doing brilliant (have spent £30 since last week) and he has probably spent a fortune!
Still trying to decide on future employment plans, now thinking of cake decorating
Re housework, my house truly was in a similar state until I went on the OS board and followed the flylady thread. I got on top of it all and now do a room a day, takes me about the hour, force children to participate in slave labour also and then hey presto we're done! Need a good clear week to start off though.
Hey hum, back to work I go now though, although I resent working hard knowing it may all be for nothing!
Hope you have a good day and chin up x0 -
Morning BA and all!! i gave OH a stern kick up the botty last night, well was more a verbal slapping from hell, hoping it may have sunk in!!!
it's his birthday today so i need to be nice to him and make sure he has a good day.
I'm feeling a little better today, however imagine this for a conversation.
"Hello stranger!" (from a client i've not seen for a few weeks)
"hiya how are you" (miss P)
"gosh you've put on loads of weight since i last saw you, whats the reason for that then?" (client)
            (missP)
I kid you not. this is an EXACT replica of a conversation from yesterday. I was MORTIFIED!! (and i know i can share it here as none of you can see me!) Now i'm no kate moss, or jodie kidd, I carry a couple of pounds and just consider myself to be average build. I try to keep the weight down with exercise which i KNOW i've not been doing enough of due to a heavy workload but come on!! that was just plain rude!!
So here's the plan,
Mum is posting me up my lovely gorgeous ipod that she bough tfor my birthday that i've not managed to collect yet, will transfer all my music frm my ipod shuffle onto it and put some more to,
Up at 0800 each morning, breakfast and tea
0840-1200 normal work
12-00-1300 A little housework or matched betting or money raising frm somewhere!:o
13.00-14.00 lunch
14.00-17.00 normal work
17.00-1800 visit DP take for a walk etc
18.30 out for a run
Evenings my own to do more MB and stuff with or housework.
am going to print this out and get stuck onto my fridge so i can follow in order.
OK now, running very very (scarily) short of funds until the end of the month,
Have about £30 accesible pounds and need petrol to so is going to be a very frugle run to the end of the month.
Have a good one. xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
