HI BA and thanks for the hug. He won't have a joint account as doesn't want to be jointly linked with me as i'll drag him down to apparently.

I have had to give him £20 back from the food he gave me to go to cricket this month, just feel sometimes asthough i'm making all the sacrifices and my extra money i make just gets washed away. he won't talk about it and doesn't feel he should justify himself to me. When he's using my money and affecting our food budget then yes he bl**dy well has to!!

Think i'm going to go get ready for my appointment and have a nice drive there, just getting myself angrier and angrier about it. I've thought about leaving on more than one occasion and todayy is one of those days, but love prevails i guess. Just keep thinking about the end of july and how it will be when i get there. Thats the start of my new life, i've struggled and nearly gone under for three years now, i can see the finishing line. maybe thats why i'm so down. I usually tell him how much i get each month, not so**ing likely thi smonth i tell you! If he doesn't know he can't take the p and nick my money!!

Right i'm going to head off, need to get a move on anyway but don't want to drag it down with this much moaning.

HAve a great day everyone and thanks fo the support.
Big big hugs to you all

Why don't you run the food down over the next few months, then present him with empty cupboards and him having no money.

The shock of that will change his attitude.

It's certainly less of a step to do that than to leave him.

Hi Pania, I hope you don't mind, but a little while ago I read on another part of the forum, a nasty nasty reply to one of your postings.

I hated it, and it made me feel really bad about this site. In fact I just lurked for a few days, fretting about my/our signatures and the impression that people get that I/we are failures. Heaven knows how it made you feel? And I really hope you are OK about it now?

Hi P, would you like me to pop round and slap him round the face with a wet fish

Might not do any good, but would be good for a laugh :D

Hope the work continues to go well today. Stay strong x

    Hi Pania
I'm really sorry to hear that your OH is being so unhelpful. Take Hypno up on that wet fish offer.

If it's any comfort you are so not alone... I can think of lots of posters on here who are struggling with OHs who undermine their efforts. But we'll ovecome our debts, I'm sure of that. You're doing fine so don't let his attitude get you down.

Hi there everyone, thanks for your support and for listening to my rant. Sent him a loooooooong text message explaining how i felt and he's been really nice this afternoon, but not actually replied to that text. . bizarre. He's said he's going to apply for the A+L account when he gets in though so must've done something!! I've come out in a stinking cold this afternoon so think that could be behind the grumbling and moaning too.

Hypno, i'd love you to slap him with a wet fish for me, :D would make me laugh anyhoo!!

Have managed to block myself out for next two days with no appointments to let me catch up on the work i have to do, 2 days peace and quiet at home...:T

right going to post this so it doesn't log me out then continue....

I'm not to sure why OH's of any sex can be quiet unhelpful, surely we are all trying to pull together for a better more fun life where we can have the luxuries and pleasures and be able to afford them, maybe it's a rebellious thing i don't know?

ZTD love your idea and i think it may come to that!! Went to asda on my way home and got 2 whole full carrier bags for £9.98!! Shopping savvy? moi?:D

Hi Olive good to see you about hon. Yep that nasty !!!! did quite annoy me but i think to be honest he was just being a troll. I reported him a few times but don't think the e-mais went through. 2 very well known DFWers came to my rescue though when he was at his nastyest (is that a word?) and gave him a piece of their mind so yay to them!! :T

I think TBH it was the same person that was trolling on the BR board this weekend under a different user name. The similarities behind the abuse was startling. Stick on her though hon, much more good people than bad around i promise! And why on earth have you not appeared n the running club lately? get your butt over there pronto and join the competition!!:rotfl:

Right, what was i doing? work? whats that then? oh yeah the other thing this laptop is used for!!!! He he

    Have a good one

  • hey all, have some more money coming over the next week but not saying how much yet - not thousands unfortunately!

Pania - so sorry you are having a cruddy time - lots of good advice today about it though and didn't realise about the nasty message you had - i hate that - some people obviously dont have enough to do in their own lives without being unkind to others.

take it easy esp as you not well - look after yourself xxx
