OH has just managed to downgrade his account, the only think he used it for was Holiday Inn who ever since the Premium came in are no longer with Quidco.......shame as he stayed away a good few nights every month.
My account, says I cant till Feb 14.0 -
Hi @Vinylmusic
As I said in my previous message, if you would like to downgrade you need to talk to us via our website. The £5 retention fee helps run the website that provides you with cashback. We have listened to our members and created the free account so for those who wish to not pay the £5 still can do so.
The premium account holds features that provides its members with tools to help them receive their cashback faster, If this is something that is not of interest to you please discuss downgrading with us.
I apologies if the Amazon cashback does not meet your individual needs. We have over 3 million members and have to create offers that appeal to a range of people. I suggest that you follow the retailer to ensure that you are notified when a new offer becomes available.
Thanks
Brad

Quidco
Thanks for the info Brad
I checked my account and see that I'm not on Premium. That's probably because I've never even used it.
I was almost swayed by being able to get CB from Amazon purchases but then your not including the kind of stuff I usually buy (music, computer and electronics).
I've built up some CB already with TopCashBack and I like that I can get an even better deal converting them to Tesco points
Also their referral bonus is much more generous
I'll keep my quidco account and who knows, if things change I may start using it too

I didn't like having to wait until my anniversary to downgrade from Premium, but they were happy to put me back to Basic immediately when I emailed them.
However, the sneaky way they "upgraded" me in the first place has left me feeling bitter, and I'll be using TCB in future instead. I got nearly £1k p.a. from Quidco, and had been happy with them until they played this stunt.0 -
Just did a search and came to this thread after seening £5 gone from my account. I did a live and the downgraded the account.
Apparently I had always been a premium member.0 -
just changed my account by using the live chat thing - and actioned no problem0

now I am totally confused, If in a year I didn't earn enough cashback,
does that mean I will be charge money to use quidco?
say for a year I only have used quidco to get 2 pound cashback, I'd expect I will be charged 5 pound from my back accound/paypal? (so actually lose money for using it?)0
