Still says they take the 1st £5 when I go there?
Are you perhaps thinking of their Click/snap grocery? That doesn't charge a £5"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Queen, all members are changed to Premium Members now, but you can downgrade to a basic membership where there is no charge.
I guess new members get the choice at sign up.0 -
No ,Got email from them .Quote..'We're very excited to announce that as of today Quidco is completely free for you to use. Weve done away with the retention fee meaning you will pocket all the cashback you earn'0

Those who have used Quidco within the last 12months are Premium Members.
Thats on my email from them and on their blog. But not on my other post!

Lots of info that is as clear as mud if you skim read!0 -
So if I paid my £5 in January do I get it back if I downgrade now. That's what I want to know. Otherwise I might as well stay premium for the rest of the year and then switch down next year. Not convinced that the benefits are worth a fiver, I much prefer TCB.0

I got the same email about being a Premum Member and there is a £5 charge so I just tried to contact them on live chat and no answer, so I went into my account and tried to downgrade to the basic version, but it won't let me downgrade until February 2014! What are they playing at? Are they breaking their terms and conditions to the customers?0

What another £5 or just the annual charge. I am not paying another £5. I too tried live chat and it didn't work. Hmmmmm0 -
But surely the point is no-one asked to be upgraded! This isn't going to work.0
