Thanks again Alpine Star. I knkw if i cancel they will charge me but im just wondering how they can pursue the claim when they say that Black Hirse dont kniw who we are, they also need me to supply more details. Im not going to do this, as its me doing the work they promised i wouldnt have to do. Will they still pursue it on my behalf, and if so how long before i could do it myself ?

If you go here and click the link for Quintessential Finance Group Limited you'll see that the trading names share the same MOJ authorisation number.

The two companies are called The Claims People and PPICLAIMLINE and not ppiclaims.org.....so i think they are two different comlanies ?

You can't make the same complaint twice. If they have complained at a later date than the original company, their current complaint should be ignored.

Also PPIclaimline appear to be Naitonal Accident Helpline.

They can't pursue it without account numbers or information. If they don't have anything that relates to yuor particular product or account, they're shooting in the dark with a speculative complaint. They need information from you to go ahead with it.

You'll have to decide whether your Black Horse complaint will net you enough redress to make it worth cancelling both companies and paying them a 'reasonable' fee.

If it was in both your names, and you havent signed anyting with either company, then they can't touch your part of the redress.

Thanks. I have no intention of telling them to cancel it as they will then no doubt charge me. I need them to withdraw as they dont have the info required. Once they do this, i can then try and claim myself. I willmcall them today and ask what their next move is going to be, hopefully they will tell me they cant do anything else.

Its only one company (The Claims Guys) who are looking into the Black Horse complaint. PPIClaimline were onlyndealingnwith the RBS one. Is their a tool to,work out how much redress would be possibly involved ?

If that is the case he should send an email to info@claimsadvisorygroup.co.uk and cc to consumer@claimsregulation.gov.uk with a subject title

FORMAL COMPLAINT OF MISSELLING AGAINST CLAIMS ADVISORY GROUP.

It should then say that they enticed him to use their services without first checking whether he was in arrears to his lender and explaining to him that the lender would use any redress awarded against the arrears leaving him with a debt to Claims Advisory Group but no funds to pay it and therefore they missold their services to him.

He should say he requires them to release him from any contractual obligations to them without charge and that a copy of the e-mail has been forwarded to their regulator.

Magpiecottage thank you so much, had a reply from CAG today by e-mail stating they have cancelled my friends claims free of charge and he will receive no further contact from them. I am so grateful ( as is he) for you taking the time to offer advice that as potentially saved him a lot of money! Power to the people!
