Recommended Mosquito Repellant?

Hi all,

I have always used the 'Jungle' brand but have never thought it was great and I still get bitten a lot!

Does anybody have any others that they swear by that it may be worth me trying?

Thanks

I use this too and it's good. It is very strong however and strips your nail varnish off, as well as ruining nice shiny wooden floors.

Odomos. We normally buy it in India when we arrive. You may get it on ebay.

Avon S-S-S is not actually a mozzie repellant.

It was marketed very briefly (1 campaign only, I think) many years ago as good for repelling mozzies.

That was the green one which has been marketed under a few different names - used to be called 'Soft & Fresh' now called 'Original', it's definitely not the pink one.

I use it after a proper mozzie repellant, never on its own.

I always use an after-sun with mozzie repellant in too, before Avon S-S-S.

I've used Autan for years, the 'tropical strength' one.
I don't think it smells gorgeous though.
I've had problems in the past getting hold of it.
Boots seemed to stop stocking it.

It's a good idea to buy local products.

    Is 'Deet' the brand name?

I searched on Amazon for 'deet' and it came up with lots of different brands that contain varying percentages of deet.
