My weight loss:
The first goal I set myself at the start of June was an ambitious one.
I wanted to lose 3lb a week before the end of July - which works out at around 25.5lbs.
It has been hard but I am nearly there and unless I have several relapses in the next week I should reach that target. Only 1 more lb and 1 week to go
As I was doing so well I set myself a 2nd mini target of 2stone by the end of the month, and only 3lb more to achieve that, although I may struggle with that.
Couple of weeks holiday then, and I will feel much more confident on the beach at 15st 6lb rather than 17st 6lb. Although I know I still have more than 4st  more to lose so won't turn any heads :rotfl:
When I return from leave I will set myself another target. Not sure what yet but I am thinking it will be to lose another 2 stone before the end of November. I think that will work out at about 1.7lbs a week for around 17 weeks.
I know that will be harder than the last couple of months but hopefully if I attack it as I have done so in the last couple of months I will get there.Total debt [STRIKE]£23,967[/STRIKE]\ £19,190. DFD: Feb 2015.

and finally:
To wrap up my diary I still haven't read any books this year so my target is still 0\6
.
But with a holiday coming up I may be able to add 1 to that - as long as I am not too busy enjoying myself.
I also have over £200 in Amazon vouchers at the moment saved from cashback sites. Not sure it will still be there for Christmas but if it is, and if I continue to add to it, then I should have a fund of over £300 for Christmas presents! :jTotal debt [STRIKE]£23,967[/STRIKE]\ £19,190. DFD: Feb 2015.

Weight now 15st 7.5lbs - a loss of 26.5lbs.
So I have reached my initial target, of 3lbs a week before my holiday, and even passed it by 1lb - still a few days to go before the final weigh in for the target though.
Hopefully I won't put any weight on - hopefully I reach my mini 2st target instead, only 1.5lbs to go.
Money - debts going down.
At the moment my debts stand at £20,751 that is a reduction of £3216 since April, which is £643 a month. If I keep repaying at level it will take me 32 months to be debt free, whereas I have calculated I should be able to achieve it in just 17 months!
So whereas it is good the debt is being reduced I will have to step it up. To be continued....Total debt [STRIKE]£23,967[/STRIKE]\ £19,190. DFD: Feb 2015.

I will need to get myself motivated again when I return from holiday so thinking up targets I would like to meet:
Targets for 1st October
Weight: Lose another stone. 7 weeks - 2lb a week. I will then be 14st 6lb with another 3st 3lb to lose
Money: At the moment my DFD is December 2014. I will have had 2 pay days by then so not a lot of room for movement, but it should be possible, with slightly larger repayments, to bring that DFD to November 2014. One month closer. In order to achieve this I need to repay an extra £350.
Books: Read 2 books.Total debt [STRIKE]£23,967[/STRIKE]\ £19,190. DFD: Feb 2015.

I'm back. I had a really good break, just need another one now to recover
I ignored my diet completely on holiday and as a result put on 6lbs
Oh well, will have to get back to it and start losing again. I am hoping those first few pounds will be fairly easy to shift. Now I know I can lose the weight, if I try, I will keep up the effort. I will work out later what I want my new target to be.
Thanks for the support everyone.
In answer to Julie67 I have basically lost the weight by counting the calories. I have been very good and basically cut right down on eating chocolate, cheese, biscuits and a lot of other high calorie foods. All of these I used to regularly eat.
I have also cut down on the portion sizes.
I won't say it has been easy as I found it really, really difficult. I realised I needed to lose the weight when I tried on clothes for my holiday and found none of them fitted, although a couple of years ago they did.
(I am glad to say after losing nearly 2st they all fitted for my holiday though)
I also substituted some food. e.g. I buy baked crisps which are a less calories than other crisps. Ice lollies at around 60 calories a go I also found were good as they take a while to eat and replace some other foods when I was feeling weak and had to resist those sweets etc.
Piling the veg high also helped. It meant I filled up and didn't snack so much and so it helped me resist those other foods.
Anyway will have to see if I can carry on now the holiday is over.Total debt [STRIKE]£23,967[/STRIKE]\ £19,190. DFD: Feb 2015.
