I bought marie clare today at Mr T's. I used the 1.90off voucher that you print off - thanks OP! (tried using it in WHS yesterday, but sharp eyed SA spotted I was buying the august copy, not the july edition and she wouldn't accept it!) The bangles are a perfect fit, which is a surprise as most peeps have reported they are either too small or too big...aren't they ugly though? LOL
They are really ugly.. and very cheap looking. Not really any loss that they don't fit.So your answer don’t be scared of failure

I haven't tried one yet, but I guess they will fit a size 10 - 14 It makes me laugh when they say 'one size fits all' unless they are made out of a VERY stretchy material!0 -
In the August 2007 issue of Company magazine they have a 20% discount code for Figleaves.com.
The code is COMPAUG
It expires 1st September 2007 and does not apply to sale itemsDreaming about 20/20 vision :rotfl:0 -

Had a very good day. :jWent to WHSmith and purchased Tatler and Cosmopolitan (on special offer in my store: ‘Buy any 2 save £1.50’. Offer available in selected stores only though), and also Auto Express for hubby. Total before coupons: £6.10. Handed out £2.70 off Tatler from Daily Mail, £3 worth of gift vouchers (from online surveys), and the 200 extra points coupon. Ended up paying 40p cash and getting 200 extra points, a very nice pair of sunglasses (free gift with Tatler) and a 15ml Clarins moisturiser (Cosmopolitan offer). I was surprised to see Cosmo still on sale, I thought the August issue was out already, but no: it will be out on 12th July, so you’ve still got time to purchase it if you want to take advantage of the Clarins offer. Worth checking with the Clarins counter in your department store in advance though, just to make sure they’ve still got some moisturisers left.
Off topic now (sorry, didn't know where else to post this): I also went to Sainsbury’s and saw The Food Doctor organic porridge mix reduced to 85p (a good expiry date though: April 2008), so used the £1 off MOCs for this product and got quite a few for free. I also went to Waitrose and asked whether they took any coupons. Charming guy at the CS desk said that they did (I knew that from the kind people who have reported this on MSE before
), so I did a shop there and saved money by using coupons and buying stuff on offer at Waitrose, yet not on offer at Tesco.
A very nice shopping experience indeed.
Hope you had a good day too.'Into every abyss I still bear the blessing of my affirmation' (Friedrich Nietzsche)0 -
Does anyone know if the MOC's in the Sainsburys magazine August issue are product specific? I bought the mag today but don't know whether I can buy anything at Sainsburys and just hand them over. I am feeling a bit timid as I don't usually shop at Sainsburys.:o0

MBN - shopping in sainsbury and waitrose?! mr. t will feel so left out...:rotfl:
just saw today in t there is a new organic fruit/veg box, medium size £10. have been thinking to order them directly from organic farm for ages but may have problem for delivery because not always at home, also i don't suppose those organic farmers take coupons lol :rotfl: now t is selling the same thing with a much lower price, plus using the coupons, brilliant. but t may wipe out those local farmers tho, they always wipe out local competitors with low prices, then when competitors all gone, they raise the price back up. sorry, off the topic too.
which weekday do the new weekly magazines come out normally? monday?0 -

After a terrible shopping trip yesterday (no H&B btw, just groceries), I have decided that I should reconsider my position re Mr T. So from now on I will shop with the competition even more than I did until now.I've never shopped at Waitrose before,
and this was a new and I must say very pleasant experience. I'll definitely go back there for more shopping. I used to 'cheat' on Mr T with Morrisons and Lidl, not anymore: from now on it will be Morrisons, Lidl and Waitrose.
From what I've noticed, some of the weekly mags come out on Tuesday (Best, Woman, Woman's Own etc), while others on Thursday (Chat? Full House? Reveal? Not very sure about that, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
