I'm so sorry to hear that. Is there anyone you can talk to or support you at the moment?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Yes my boyfriend is being amazing, so lucky to have him but obviously he can't help 100% of the time as he is a retail manager and v v busy (such little pay for such a big job) and because of the type of my illness I tend to have episodes of absolute panic and think the worst. This forum is proving helpful though, thanks everyone.0

Loupy, if your system is the same as BR here in England then your monthly payment will be reset if your income changes and if you can't afford to pay anything then you don't.
Ideally it would be better to adapt your work rather than stop it, this makes it much easier to return to it when you are feeling better. This does depend on your HR at work though and doesn't sound like yours are that helpful. Could they reduce your hours and/or workload?
Have your told your therapist and/or care co-ordinator how the therapy is causing you distress and making life harder temporarily? Maybe there are ways to change the therapy to reduce that impact? Possible some emotional coping skills work could help you manage the stress too."Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama0 -
A lot has happened recently in work with our line manager leaving and basically they said they need me back ASAP and that it's an 'issue'... when will I be back, don't text my workmates with what's wrong with me (they are my friends too) because that puts pressure on THEM. Ugh it's awful, I'm so upset over the phonecall and my bf is furious with how they've handled it. As for returning to work, well, it's not a job I want to return to... I work late, there is a lot of drama and its high pressure with constant deadlines. I've literally never had a chance to get better with my illness because I've been so busy with work and many other things that have happened in the past. The money thing is an added stress.
I can't get a GP appointment today but ill call first thing tomorrow with one, am also seeing my psychologist tomorrow and then I'll call my relationship manager...
Thanks for the help0 -

I can empathise. I have bipolar and experience anxiety/paranoia induced panic attacks during my depressive periods. Keep talking and don't isolate yourself ((hugs)) xx“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I am not surprised your boyfriend is angry. I can totally sympathise with you not wanting to go back to work, I know how I have felt in the past. I was being bullied in work, it was terrible, I ended up with Glandular Fever which my GP felt was due to stress, this in turn ended up as ME and I was off for over 11 months in 2007.
When I did go back I was only able to do part time. It was never easy but I stuck it out for another 5 years and was made redundant on 31 March this year, and to say I was relieved is an understatement.
What I would say is do not just leave, go and see your GP speak to your psychologist as well. I hope your doctor then signs you off sick as I am not sure that this company can do much about that with a doctors certificate. Do you get sick pay from the company? and how long have your worked there. Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0 -
Doctor just came round for a home visit as ive been going in and out in consciousness with my 'crazy' today, has signed me off for 10 days. I honestly don't want to go back at all. I really hope that my relationship manager can help. I've been at my work for just over a year. I love (most) people there and it's not actually the job I want to do but it pays well and I thought it would help me pay a good chunk of my debts. I've been so good managing on little money but now I'm terrified that if they don't reduce the payment that I just won't survive. I've already had 2 weeks of company sick pay this year and they told me I'm now on statutory sick pay.0

Okay you need to speak to your advisor, and tell them you are only going to get SSP, and that you have had to have the doctor out and you are very worried about being able to make your next payment.
Is your doctor aware how stressed you are over work, as maybe being signed off with work related stress would push them into letting you go. I am just worried that if you leave the job the people you pay the money to may see that as not the best thing.
Someone else maybe able to give you further advice on this.

Doctor was pretty useless tbh but then I didn't expect a cure as this illness has been with me for a long time. I said how stressed I was about work, yes. I'm really hoping my psychologist can shed some light on this situation tomorrow.0
