gfk actually sent me one of the oyster wallets, which i am not putting to good use. I think peopel should just be allowed to order the freebies they want. I know a lot of people who order freebies that they dont need, but later pass the freebies to people who actually need them : friends, relatives, etc.

But i do admit that there are certain scums out there who order freebies in order to resell them and make a profit on it. (take for example, free sims).

Hello, i only request samples that i know i would like to try before i buy ie i have eczema and allergies and have been trying to find a moistouriser that doesnt irritate my skin-so i asked several companies if i could posibly have a sample to try and explained my problem. I do not waste companies time and money, often i am very impressed and go ahead and buy the product after trying the sample. I dont see myself as greedy, im just carefull with my money-and so often try something before i buy esp if its for my skin. this is a money saving board after all?

LMAO well done you! i'll have 1 please, lol, (thanks for the giggle) and if companies dont have enough to give away, they shouldnt give away in the first place! i get what i think i will use and if i dont use it i will pass it on to someone else, just as i did with the bounty packs from morrisons, i sent vouchers to people without printers and never asked for a penny! i had 4 packs one for each of my immediate family and we ate drank and enjoyed it all! then used the loo roll after lol:rotfl:

Freebies are fun and do get people buying the products, i am proof of that.

Freebies are for everyone be it first come first served or not, good luck to everyone i hope we all continue to get loads of post and freebies!

    ps...Bottoms up james!

I can completely understand where the OP is coming from. I only apply for freebies that are actually useful to me (or things I want, recently a nail varnish). Well I would say that of course ;) but I've seen people post that they've applied for something buy don't need/want it - fair play to them, I just don't see the point? The thrill? Of what? Having a house full of dishwasher tablets when you don't own a dishwasher?

Of course people may apply on behalf of someone they know - I have (no dishwasher here!).

It seems that some people can blinded by the word FREE - isn't that why supermarket BOGOFs are so successful? I didn't want ANY pringles, but now I have two packs... etc.

Btw, I don't object to people re-selling things. If person A would rather use Ebay to buy a sim card than spend a bit of time seeking out freebies/offers - then that's their call. Part of me thinks, oh it would be better if more people would come here and find out how to save money, but the reality is that not everyone cares about saving money. Let them use the quick ebay-route and leave the offers for those that need them more - like me.

In regard to the original post I do feel that Op has a point , just look at the freebie bounty family pack one person quite proudly stakes a claim to having *grabbed* four of these bags, Also the pigsback thread mentions that people are only clicking on to get the freebie points without actually shopping through the site.( better CS might improve that prblem -but that's an entirely different issue)
On the other hand with mispriced items etc I have purchased more than one item :o not for personal gain but because I felt my family /friends would benefit from that particular bargain too and by the time I had managed to contact them about it then it would have been too late.
I am also guilty of buying MANY full priced items that I have NEVER used and probably am unlikely to ever use! I drag home items which I think might come in useful and my OH exclaims when on earth are we going to need that!
I always reply you never know.
So my conclusion is "everything in moderation" but you will always get some who take more than they should.
If I have caused offence I apologise- that wasn't my intention!
    Kind Regards

sPARKLEWORLD - just to say i didnt "grab" 4 bags i was given one for me my DH & my 2 DD's! morrisons gave me 4 quite happily and it didnt say 1 per family on the voucher!!

If Morrisons want to GIVE me 4 bags thats up to them, i also printed vouchers for other people on MSE too and sent them with my stamps that I paid for! i am not greedy i just dont see why we shouldnt have freebies, and just to clarify i just wanted to say i only apply for what i will use or know my friends would be thankful of, and anything i do get through that i havent asked for or anything i BUY and dont use will ALWAYS be put on freecycle for others to enjoy! and save the landfill, i value your opinion i just wanted you to know i didnt "GRAB" THE bounty packs!

    thankyou for reading,

    A not greedy mse'r:cool:
