I'm done too, just browsing for ideas for kids to wear fancy dress for St George's day. Or they can just go in red and white... We'll see.

Have rehoused all towels so airing cupboard clear again. Have also moved some clothes. But only as far as the spare room cupboard... ;)

bossy I did smile at the thought of the little moos laughing so much at striped ice lollies :p

Hope the erection activities are going to plan in the pigpen household

This evening I've cooked two versions of spag bol - one meaty one veggie - cleaned the hob *shock horror* and done lots of vacuuming. DD has done everything DW related and cleared/tidied the coffee table. I have put my birthday presents where they belong - my birthday was last monday, for those who may have missed it :) Towels are TDd and folded. Insides of kitchen cupboards wiped.

Things I have seen in waste bins in my village:
Yesterday: a pair of small yellow crutches
    Today: a silver scooter

Things I have seen on the pavement just outside my house:
Sloppy dog poo - I have tried to channel my inner dusty but my gag reflex is too strong so it'll have to stay there for the moment :o

Love, hugs, sticks, spoons as required xx

Evening all, hope you are all well and enjoying the reasonable weather we are having (inbetween showers!).

Not sure where the week has disappeared, for some reason I haven't been indoors that much to do as much flying as I wanted to do. How come when you make plans to do something they never happen - I had all good intentions to do a fair bit of flying :D I'm hoping that next week will be a bit better, I only have my 4yr old "niece's" party to go to - at the moment!!!

Had the insurance assessor in again today, thankfully it wasn't the miserable one that came last time. This one came to check my stair carpet out for replacement..luckily they never quibbled and instead of replacing one piece they are doing the landing upstairs and the two flights of stairs. Decided on a dark colour this time, that way it won't show the animal marks/dirt that they are always bringing in..

Can't have my ceiling replaced until 6 weeks time due to the gas mains being replaced outside over the next 6 weeks. So the good news at least I have 6 weeks to put everything into storage boxes.. Will look a bit bare at the end of it..and will be without furniture for 4 days while they repair it. Well apart from the sofa as we aren't moving that out. But everything else has to go, including pictures, nets/curtains. If it is moveable it goes!!

We've also got Bella my friends jack russell staying with us for a week. She's adorable and a little diva, but she loves being with my two boys. And they keep her in her place. She also loves give my eldest Scruffy little puppy kisses!!

Bossy if you have an england flag fix that to his shoulders cape style get a cereal box cut the bottom and one side off so it fits over head, cover it in tinfoil fashioning a shield in the same way from tinfoil and cardboard. even better if you have a cuddly toy dragon (or dinosaur) knocking about the place. et voila! st george and his dragon

    Morning all

    Been up a while
Read a chapter of my book
Had a chat with DS2 about the education system in China
Followed the breaking situation in Watertown on twitter and the radio
    Fed the mogs
    Watered my seeds

Time for the shower now and to wake DS1 and DS3 and I'll gather some laundry whilst I'm at it.

    morning all

why has the world gone mad? shootings in boston following the bombing, the explosion yesterday. so sad and so many people getting hurt

done a round of crochet this morning in bed
DS2 wants to be in school early - unsure if hes on a impress ofsted mission LOL
all recycling out 3 black bags, 1 'plastics & tin' bag & paper and cardboard ones and the garden waste.
last week after my mission in the attic i had 7 paper recycling bags out i heard one of the collectors ask his mate if they had to take that many from a private house or if it was classed as business?
NO chance mate its all my personal hoard im sorting and our council take unlimited recycling so ill stand my corner if challenged.

DS2 is in the St George day parade with scouts on sunday but thats uniform so im sorted for that.
DS1 has concert tonight at school so be rushing to get everyone organised for that. its all good practise for his 'gig' next month at an open mic night a pub was so impressed with him theyve offered him a slot of his own.

    hope everyone is well
hugs good wises and get well vibes where needed (along with a few kick up the behinds to get the lists done for te weekend if needed)

just got to finish yesterday washing up pack up DS1 and change our bed then ill put my lists up and start on today.
