    Evening all. Not caught up with thread properly :o Too tired tonight.

    Ex has been, DD now has a laptop, and he's tried to fix mine. It was working, now its playing up again but I think that might be due to DD being on her laptop as well. :rotfl:

    Kitchen
    Level one

    Clear and wipe work surfaces - main areas done. Could do with moving stuff and getting into all the corners.
    Level Two
    Mop floors, Use a cloth to get right into the corners and do any skirtings too
    Wipe the cupboards, appliances and all those manky corners!!
    Wipe table and chairs
    Level three
    Wipe over all those small appliances.. don't forget the inside of the microwave!
    Wipe out the icky parts of the fridge and have a quick check for what needs restocking.

    Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level Two
    Clean windows and all glass, including the tv screen
    Level Three
    HHPaperwork, make any medical appointments - anybody due a smear?

    Master Bedroom and Landing
    Level Three
    Have some me time
    Do any mending, sew on buttons etc - need DD to come home first for this, I noticed this morning I need to fix the shoulderpad in her blazer.


    Bathroom and Pc Area
    Level One

    Clean bath sinks and toilets
    Level Three
    Clean shelves.
    Bleach brush
    Bring toothbrush cup down to be cleaned

    Misc To do:
    Contact fire brigade to see if they still do home safety checks - our free smoke alarms no longer work.
    List DD's old violin for sale.
    Contact council to come and move old fire etc.

    Work:

    Put through returns & pay bill
    Package returns
    Collect book from customer - oops! Will have to call in the morning instead. I'm already in my pjs :o

    Just going to put DD's uniform through a quick wash and then once thats dry then I'm off to bed.
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    I have done ironing, washing, dishes and wiped worktops down in kitchen. I'm waiting for work top to dry and see if needs ironing, then off to bed.

    Clear and wipe work surfaces
    Sweep and Mop the floor
    Clean the gacky filters and drawers from DW's, WM's etc
    Wipe the cupboard fronts, appliances and all those manky corners!!
    Clean all those small appliances, wipe their home then put them back..
    Wipe the gicky things out of the fridge.
    Clean hob if you must.. *rolls eyes*
    Clean windows and sills
    Empty the cupboards and clean the entire insides, start with the worst cupboard!!.. shelves, everything.
    Clear clutter from shelves and wipe them over.. I want to see empty spaces and shiny shelves!!


    Mad Tuesday - Living room, Hallway, Stairs
    Remove clutter from floors, chairs and fireplace
    Open the windows and let in some fresh air
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Wipe and water neglected plants
    Dust those flat fluffy surfaces
    Vacuum under the furniture you can move
    Clean windows, pictures, mirrors etc.
    Clear a hotspot
    Vacuum hall and stairs.. all the way up to the top!!!!!
    Update financial spreadsheets/accounts.. if you have none to do.. DO SOME FILING.. all that paperwork HAS a home!!
    Wipe woodwork in the hall and stairs
    Wipe front door.. inside and out!
    Wash any nets/curtains that need cleaning.. put up fresh ones!
    Sort that corner full of shoes and coats and bags... I know you all put this off so Get it sorted.. before the proper nice weather hits!!
    Put all the paperwork in one heap and sort through it
    Scrub the manky marks off the carpet
    Scrub the manky marks off the sofas
    Look online for a spice rack since I was unable to find one in town
    Write up some of the recipes used this month


    Study or other reception room & bathrooms - Wednesday
    Clear the clutter from all these rooms!!
    Wash any curtains/blinds/mats etc that need doing
    Vacuum the floors
    Clean bath, toilets, shower and sinks
    Wipe down the tiles and defragment the pc while doing this.
    Declutter and dust the pc desk
    Wipe away cup rings and sticky things
    Wipe the keyboard, mouse, cables and sockets and suchlike.
    Clean the windows.
    Vacuum under movable furniture
    HHI..
    Clear a hotspot
    Replace any dead toothbrushes and sponges
    Haul out the pc desk and deal with the destruction which lies beyond MSE land
    Wash the curtains/nets
    Scoop all that hotspot into one heap.. and fling it in the bin.. keeping the bits you really have to, but put them away nicely.
    Clean up any floor gibble


    Master bedroom & landing - Thursday
    Check fire alarms are working
    Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.
    Fling open the window and let in the spring!
    Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
    Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
    Air the duvet if the weather permits
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance
    Quick hoover round house
    Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
    Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of..
    Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
    33 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
    Clean windows in these rooms
    Clear a box of clutter from the landing
    Sort through that airing cupboard!!
    Sort through a pile of landing gibble
    Sort your 'stash' in your bedroom.. you know the place that you stuff things and think.. yep.. I'll sort that later.. The one you hide presents in, yep we're all guilty of it me included!!!
    Find the floor.. not just a bit of it.. ALL of it!!!!!!!! and vacuum it

    Horsepiddle for DD3 - :beer: Skin cancer specialist confirmed her suspicious looking mole is NOT "unfriendly" :j:j:j:j AND she can have further courses of Photolight therapy treatment, although this specialist has re-jigged all her skin meds and is going to see her again in 3 months :)

    Waiting for special concoctions to be made up according to the secret "Colchester" formula in the hospital pharmacy (one of the regular prescription items is out of stock :( )

    DS taken into nursery later than usual cos of DD3 appt, but picked up normal time

    Big Black Cloud appointment survived again :o

    Daisy duty survived for another day

    Decluttered half of DD3 on hairdressers floor and had my hair "painted" according to DS - 3 hrs in the chair - DD4 and DS were superbly behaved considering how boring it is for them and it was gone 7pm before we left

    cleared, cleaned and bleached 2 runs of kitchen worksurfaces, upper and lower doors and kick boards and sockets on those runs wiped over

    kitchen floor, LR, hall and porch hoovered

    Back door opened for HH-fresh air

    Microwave, cooker hood, hob, and cooker doors cleaned

    Fling boogie in LR

    fleabay parcel collected from Post Office

    stretched the plastic for dinner to be cooked for me - Sorry Martin, not very :money: of me :o

    Right quick cuppa, then update Wednesday's list

    Froggy phone call to green steam mop company - bubblewrapped, boxed, labelled and dropped up at courier pick up point - all done on the same day :j:j:j

    Trip to Hospital Pharmacy (wasted journey as item not in as expected and not told in advance:( ):(

    Trip to post office to pick up another missed fleabay parcel of clothes for DS

    crate of glass bottles and jars smashed in the name of recycling at bottle bank - very therapeutic :D

    remaining 2 kitchen worksurfaces cleared, cleaned and bleached (door and kick boards on this half of kitchen is outstanding :( )

    composting caddy emptied, cleaned and bleached

    egg shells crushed and put round strawberry plants outside (thanks for the tip on this from earlier this week/late last week :T)

    Mount Foldmore moved from Utility to LR a boulder at a time :rotfl:

    Broken pegs and springs picked up off patio/out of the grass and binned (note to self need to buy some more pegs :eek:)

    DD4's fleabay'd baby gym assembled ready to use :D

    DS new clothes bundle flip-flopped Sheldon Cooper style neatly into his drawers

    All DS age 2-3 clothes whipped out of his drawers bagged up waiting for any stragglers to come through the wash :eek:

    DD4 first size and upto 3 months bagged up also waiting for any stragglers to come through

    Main bathroom sink scrubbed, evidence of DD2 blue hair splatters bleached out of the shower tray, limescale removed from main bathroom shower fixtures

    Towel cupboard re-folded "Anthea" to stop the Skint Kids busting the door off its hinges AGAIN :mad:

    lonDD4's washable nappies given a quick rub through and soaking in bucket in my ensuite shower tray :money:

    Floordrobe in my room cleared, fling boogie my room, landing, ensuite and main bathroom

    WM x 2, TD x 2, DW x 1

    Freezer decluttered of 5 whoopsies for dinner tonight

    Long chat with DD1 at uni this morning

    Right time to settle down before DD4 decides Daisy mode needs to recommence operation :rotfl:

    Still really windy here, possibly too much to put washing out even with double pegging - oh Valli I could make a pegs should be made of wood exception for some 'stormproof' pegs - do they exist?

    Need to take DS1 out driving again, we can collect a parcel from the sorting office whilst out and drive to the village to collect a medical form.

    morning all
    darn just started spotting with rain here:(
    hope all are well, hugs good wishes positive thoughts and get well vibe where needed
    its not looking like ive really achieved much off the lists yet this week, but ive been tackling the bigger deep clean things that have taken time to sort. going to start in the kitchen this morning and tackle a few proper cleaning jobs to get the list down a bit.

    last night went through 2 big folders of knitting patterns and culled about a third that i know i will never knit. proper patterns are going to CS ripped out pages from mags and print off went in recycling as im not sure if you can sell them.
    last nights pots are soaking in clean hot water so i better go and make a start.

    Wind and rain here, so I'll not bother with laundry till later. Luckily I have a conservatory and a couple of airers so if we have a little sunshine it will dry fairly quickly.

    All fed, me showered and dressed, kiddies just playing but will dress them soon.

    DW going. Right I'll go collect my list and review what's happening this afternoon.
