so with this T-Mobile E3131 Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband
I can unlock it and insert the Three 3gb/3months Sim card inside it and use that?

It can be unlocked and the software changed if necessary. Whether you can unlock it is another question. Unlock instruction via eBay for a pound or two.

If that phones not for you - click on 3 only deals - set minutes to 2000 - and all those phones offered, including windows HTC S8 - come with thethering.

hey that super thanks! so then theres not issue with connecting the phone to the pc and say watching a movie everyday using the data?

I assume they wont allow you to use the data via portable hotspot but why not?

    i had another question...
I already have a three contract that expires 12/2014, this has unlimited data but does not include tethering, i dont like the idea of having two contracts, what options do i have.

You do realise it's actually £24pm. You have to apply for the cashback every 3 months and they might not even pay out. And the phone is crap and won't get any good speeds. You want a phone that's at least DC-HSPA+ or 4G if you plan on signing up for 24 months.

And like i've said before. The one plan is the only plan you can tether with. So you can use as much as you want with the portable hotspot. I know people who use 700GB tethering in a month.

I think you've missed my point. Why would you go for a crap handset like the LG one when you could go for a handset such as the HTC 8S which supports tethering and DC-HSPA+ up to 42mbps @ £22pm.

It's £2pm cheaper than the LG phone and is a much better phone and will actually get you a better internet connection. And you don't have to mess around with cashback.

I went for the samsung ace - as download speeds are twice as fast as the LG. I also went for auto cashback after 3 months, as i couldnt be bothered claiming.

But point is - the LG works out £12.50 a month after cashback (inc topcashback) - so sell the phone if you already have one - or buy something better. I didnt have a 3g phone. Its the three with tethering that we are realy talking about - not the phone.

Also - i was going to get the 8s - but my friend just had one and returned it cos it was crap. Not many apps yet either.

Unless your going to get 4g anytime soon - cant see point of paying more for a 4g phone. Its only available in cities. Ultrafast three 3g is available more or less everywhere.

So compare price with price and like with like. Or we might aswell pay £36 and get a top of the range phone. Not much difference to £12.50 , hey?

Even if the cashback doesn't show (and there are laws protecting it now) - your still paying less than what the one plan normally costs anyway.

I'm paying £22 a month. After cashback its £17.50 a month, with a free galaxy ace, 2000 mins, thousands of texts, and internet for my phone AND laptop. A bargain by anybody's standards.
