Hope everyone has a good weekend.
  • Afternoon.

Spent the morning baking, so have plenty for packed lunches this week.

Nipped to sainsbugs and spent £8.57, but used £2.50 in nectar points bringing it down to £6.07.

Thank goodness its payday on Tuesday, I have £40.10 left in bank account and £40 to pay off Halifax CC tomorrow, talk about cutting it fine:eek:.

Also need to pay school dinners tomorrow but have the cash in my purse for this.

Have done a meal plan for the next couple of weeks, done a shopping list, one for Tesco as I have some vouchers to use which coincide with some offers they have on at the minute, also done another list for sainsbugs again mainly offers and have a couple of vouchers to use as well.

Redeemed £20 from yoursaypay$, takes 30 days to hit paypal though.

Have decided i'm going to pay off vertbaud£t with the extra money in my wages, will then close the account.

better go and do some more washing and finish the ironing:(.
  • Boo to the ironing i spent over an hour just doing 3 x school uniforms for one week. Gave up before getting to any of my stuff!

My bank account sounds like yours, and our pay day is also Tuesday!

  • Quick update, have paid £40 off Halifax card, leaving 10p in bank account, school dinners paid £4.20.

Petrol light came on on the way home from work, should be enough to get me to work tomorrow and then I will fill up on way back.

Trying to be a bit more organised around the house as we seemed to have got really cluttered recently, going to go and set my timer and do 15 mins in each room and try and get some order in the house.

Hope everyone has had a good start to the week.
  • The battery in our timer has just died:rotfl:don't know if i'm annoyed or relieved:D

Well done on the payment to Halifax:money:
Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs
    One Poll: £3.20
    My Survey: £0.00
    Ebay: £0.00
  • Hi PWD, use the timer on my mobile phone, its amazing how much you can get done in a short time.
  • :j Yeah its payday, have checked online banking and everything looks pretty good.

Have paid vertbaud£t off, there might be a little bit of interest on the next statement, but not sure will have to wait and see, as soon as it's clear I will be ringing them and cancelling account.

Next debt I'm going to target is la r£doute, have around £70 on that account, I've only been paying the minimum of £5 a month, stupid as the interest is so high, but its all I've been able to manage.

Going to do a big shop after work tonight and fill the cupboards, also need petrol, so its going to be a spendy day.

It might be spendy but its stuff that means you won't need to be too spendy later ;)
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
