Morning have a good day xx
  • Payday is a week today for me too! Really, really struggling this month. Thankfully DH went away with work (that sounds awful now i've written it lol) and so food was much cheaper than usual. The child benefit just about covered most of it and I took a tenner from another fund (I owe all my funds money this month now lol) to top it up! We can do it :) xx

  • Hi guys and thankyou. I know what you mean debtfree, men eat so much food and my son is now also eating adult sized portions .

Had one of those days at work, nothing really bad has happened but the b!tch!ing and sniping has started again, I find it so draining being in that kind of environment, so have that horrible down feeling that you get when you feel put down, I know its their problem but even so.

On the money front its been a NSD:) and I've redeemed a £10 sainsbugs voucher from valu£d op!nions:D.

Have caught up with my ironing, just need to put it away now, made a chicken and mushroom pie for tea, still need to clean the kids living room though.

Hope everyones had a good day.
  • Morning.

Had a great day at work yesterday, Just kept my head down, smiled at everyone and got on with the job, luckily I get on really well with the main people I work with and the ones that are not so nice I don't see much of, so I told myself off for letting them upset me as its their problem.

On the money front, things are ok, received £3 from mysurv£y, have checked my payslip and there is an extra £30 from some overtime, have also checked online and new Barclaycard statement was done and I'm now under 8k and its starting with a 7, I know its still a huge amount but it felt good to see that it is coming down :D.

Welcome back Penny, good to see you're still plodding away at it.

Glad you've got tenants I know that was worrying you before, so fingers crossed they'll be long term and hassle free for you. x
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Hi scuba, would be really nice if the tenants stay long term, its one less thing to worry about and is making life easier having the extra money coming in.
  • I hope you have GOOD tenants and they stay long term for you too! Mine only seem to last 6 months or so then they move on. But my house is in a uni town so they mostly seem to be students and only rent term time! xx
