Whereabouts in Sheffield? Out of interest. They seem to get snapped up pretty quickly in the studenty areas like Crookes, Broomhill, Hunters Bar etc.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

S10 area, Crosspool
Another guy had 5 viewings booked in the same area and again his had only come on the day before.
It surprised me just how much interest there was. Things are hotting up by the look of it.0 -
Ah I like Crosspool, nice area. Interesting that it's popular, I guess it's good for the hospitals/unis. Does show that people with careers and the capital are buying and are interested.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

Sounds like 1996/97 all over again
That's exactly what you'd expect to see at this stage of the cycle, it's been 6 years since the crash started, and prices have been bumping along the bottom for several years now. This is just the start of it.
Indeed.
The long term housing bull market has already started, and will likely run until the mid 2020's, followed by another crash, then another boom.
Same as it ever was...“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

At least earnings are taking off as well to be able to cope with this forthcoming boom in house prices.............0
