Virgin super hub - how good?

For the past week the internet was very slow. I rang the virgin helpline who stated that I am on 10Mb and that I will be upgraded to 20Mb for free. He then contacted technical dept to check if there is no problems in my area. He came back to me saying that the modem I have is very old. They are going to upgrade me to 30Mb…

Have now installed the superhub. Have left the settings as it is for the time being. Am going to see how it performs. So far one laptop I had to type in the password again to regain internet connection, the other two working okay.

Was looking at the advanced setting of the hub. It has firewall switched on at low setting. Shall I leave it as that or off?

Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems Well at least i learn something on the way
