Found this very interesting. I only have actively managed funds. Am I lazy? I lack the time and the savvy to play the market. I am making decent returns over a range of funds and use H_L to achieve this.

Pivot tables are definitely what I need - so far all I've done is split mostly geographically, based on info I can find. The emerging markets bit includes emerging Europe, Latin America, MENA, a bit more in emerging Asia, plus a chunk in global emerging markets (don't know the split of that). I'm going by the paperwork I've gathered so far from existing pension funds so I don't think it's in any way finely accurate, but it's a start and gives me a basic idea. I have another Zurich Balanced Model Portfolio pension (20-60% shares, and 14% of my total portfolio) so that will undoubtedly have some bonds in it, but need to find out the breakdown which I'll get in the next couple of weeks. For now I'm just trying to get my ducks in a row before I can slice and dice the details.

Having an issue with Trustnet - I've plugged all my details in but it will only analyse 37% of my portfolio. It won't include several funds and gives the message 'These funds cannot be scanned due to short history.' Yet some of them are pension funds that I've held for nearly a decade, and I've double-checked the purchase date on each investment to make sure I've entered it correctly. Any suggestions, or am I stuck with manual number-crunching and pivots? On the plus side, from data I've gathered, my bond exposure is in line with what I want it to be, albeit by luck rather than judgement.
